I've been wanting to make an entry all day, so I can't resist.

Woke up this morning, vaguely remembered a dream about...something... (I can't remember now), left for school as always. Mom was half-asleep so she almost drove to the hospital instead of my school. <.< (For those who don't know, my Mom is a nurse and my school is in the same general direction as the hospital, hence why she got confused.) Then we got stuck in a lovely traffic jam and I was almost late.

That's okay, because I was undauntingly sunny at the point and extremely hyper.

I was writing in my journal for Creative Writing in all caps and putting a 'Current Mood: --" thing, so Rae decided to steal the journal and write "This isn't LiveJournal, you know!"

I replied with: "Sooo."

She replied with: "You're like a small child!" (In response to my writing my mood as "Very very very very very VERY excited.")

I wrote: "Pfft. Don't listen to Rae."

She wrote: "Yes, do listen to me!"

I wrote: "No to the infinitieth to the infinitieth power times infinity!"

She wrote: "No to the infinitieth to the infinitieth power times infinity (x3)!"

I then spent the entire rest of the period drawing thousands and thousands of teensy weensy infinity signs all over my paper, just to prove exactly how right I am. XD I still haven't filled up the whole page, but I'm getting there. Oh, and I wrote out "I WIN" in infinity signs. I also hid the word Yaoi in the infinity signs somewhere, because I figured that would make infinity more powerful somehow.

I played GameBoy for the entirity of US History. I sit in the very front in the middle, so Mr. Ostrom definitely saw me playing it all period, but he thinks I'm such a motivated and hardworking student he lets me get away with it. I caught Zapdos and named it DesertStar. I'm currently on my way to Cinnabar Island with these current Pokémon on hand:

Fukideru, Level 51 Blastoise (F)
Chuchino, Level 50 Raichu (F)
Scrap, Level 50 Primeape (F)
DesertStar, Level 50 Zapdos
SnowSonata, Level 50 Articuno
Buchi, Level 10 Meowth (F)

The last three are just placeholders for until I decide what else I want to train. Oh, and Buchi picks up items and Cuts for me. *Pets her*

In Anatomy, we watched a creepy/entertaining movie on bones and muscles. First they were waving around the skeleton of a baby for a good twenty minutes (I *swear* it looked more like an alien than anything I've ever seen. @_@ It's head was much too big and round and it had this tiny little skeleton dangling from it and...*Shudder* Ewww.) The other half of the movie had this random buff guy showing off his muscles. Also ewww, but kind of funny because of his facial expressions. XD At one point it showed him doing push-ups with this HUGE fake smile plastered on his face. It was scary/funny. The entire class started cracking up about that. Later on in the movie, it showed him doing push-ups again, but this time his smile eventually faded. It also showed him getting repeatedly hit by a volleyball in the water for some unknown reason. O_o; And there were WAYYY too many close-ups on his butt. x.x It made me what to gouge my eyes out.

Erin was back! YAY! She and I spent the entire time talking about how creepy the baby skeleton was, how babies are actually aliens, and the extreme sides of the spectrum on the male models they could have used for the video. On one hand, it would have been slightly worse if they had used Man-Faye in the video; on the other hand, it would be exponentially better if they used Ayato. X3

Erin also fed me Japanese crackers and candy that her parents brought for her from Canada. (No, I don't understand the connection either.) Then I was all hungry, so I was sneaking Cheetos during the movie.

In my TA period, I did the usual selling food (while these three random girls stood in the way and interrogated Rory and I for no reason other than they had nothing better to do--we eventually confused them enough that they left), and then I delivered a few things. Then I got...*cough*...a little sidetracked and "ended up" at the choir room watching the choir practice. Cody gave me this questioning look when I walked in the middle of the period, so I showed him my TA pass. He cocked his head at that, so this time I dangled and pointed, and he seemed to get the point and smiled. Nonverbal conversations are fun. I went back to the Student Store (where I belonged) about five or ten minutes later, so I didn't waste *too* much time.

At Lunch, some of my hyperness had worn off. Nicole and I were talking about the Anime Fest trip, and Nicole misinterpreted a comment I made (completely justifiable on her part, on my part less so) and was slightly offended. I was being my usual loud gung-ho self and exclaiming, "Yeah, we're going to go to Texas and see MAAYA SAKAMOTO in September!"

Nicole responded, "Yes, Kristin, maybe."

I kind of blinked and went, "Of course we're going!"

I forget how exactly, but eventually Nicole asked me "Would you go even if I couldn't?"

Honestly, somehow in my abstract thought processes, I took the question not as it actually was, but rather as a simple "We might not go." (I have NO idea why.) And responded after a brief second, "I'll go no matter what," or something to that effect.

Nicole was kind of quiet for a few minutes and eventually said, "I felt a little offended by what you said..." (etc.)

Then I felt really bad and realized what I had actually said, as opposed to what I was thinking (which was "We must go no matter what! In storm, or in fire, or even if there are money problems!") I explained to her what I actually meant and that I was simply being overbearingly optimistic as usual, and she forgave me. Even if she can't afford it for whatever reason, I could probably pay part of the airfare and such... We have to go together! (We're hoping to bring Cody along, too, if there is any way he can come. ^_^)

Even though I'm pretty sure she gets that it was just a misunderstanding, I still feel bad about it. v.v I hope she realizes that I really, really didn't mean I was going to go without her.

Other events of lunch included poor John getting hugged, smothered, glomped, tackled, and generally molested by random people (all guys, ironically enough. Guys hugging each other and being weirdly affectionate is perfectly normal around our groups of friends, and not taken to have any relevance to sexuality). Nicole and I commented on his uke-ness and...ummm...it's getting too late to remember the exact details of lunch. @_@

During Trig, it started hailing really hard all of the sudden. By the time the period was over, there was about 1/4-inch of hail on the ground. It was a slippery and treacherous trek up to English.

English we discussed Gatsby and I got all hyper again because of how much the whole Gatsby/Daisy thing and all the themes of "You can't go back to the past," reminded me of Spike/Julia and Cowboy Bebop in general. I got my own strange mind so psyched up about this, I had to repress the urge to raise my hand and share it with the rest of the class. I'm sure they would have just been confused and uninterested.

Around 6 PM was when my life got crazy. Dad was swimming so I couldn't get a hold of him to get to Ben and Karen's to babysit and Ryan had a guitar lesson in downtown Grass Valley at the same time I was supposed to be at Karen's house for babysitting. Dad eventually picked me up, dropped Ryan off at his guitar lesson, and dropped me off at home, where Ben picked me up and brought me to his house for babysitting.

The girls (and Jake, too) were great as usual. We played several board games, watched Spirited Away (hooray for getting paid to watch anime), and did a few drawings together. The general consensus was that they all loved Spirited Away (though the girls thought some parts were a little scary). I did multiple drawings of penguins for Jake and Ruthie, and I drew a unicorn for Rachel. They all loved the fact I can write in Japanese, so I wrote their names and titled the pictures in kana. ^_^

Oh, and I got my Gravitation Artbook #2 from Japan (YAY~ I LOVE it! It's SO cute! I now officially have all of the Gravitation DVDs, artbooks, and soundtracks. Now I just have to get the manga, once it's all released in the US.) and Wolf's Rain Vol. 4 (just recaps, but I need the DVD. I liked the recaps anyway.).

Tomorrow my CDJapan package is coming. It would have come today, but Dad screwed up and put the slip in the mailbox instead of on the door. -_-;

It's past midnight now, so I'd better go to bed.

Notes to Hitchi: Gotta catch up on your LiveJournal, too! Oh, and I have to e-mail you my Dad's phone number so you can call me this week if you want. Once we've talked, I'll have to call you sometime when Nicole and Cody are over so you can talk to them. XD

The Japanese-Canada connection is odd. When we went to Niagara Falls, there were Japanese stores EVERYWHERE you turned around. From the hotel room we could see three different stores with huge billboards completely in kana. At least I got to practice some Japanese langague skills. o.o

Yaoi can make anything more powerful. A livejournal can be anywhere. There you go, two more rules of life. XD

Reminds me of how I can get away with anything in spanish. Did you name your Moltres a pretty name, too?

That movie sounds hilarious. Only to read about and not watch, ne? ^^;

I wouldn't worry, I'm sure Nicole trusts you, it was just a simple miswording. And like you said, excessive optimism. (Oh, how those are both some of my greatest weaknesses...*sigh*)

It's okay, don't worry about it. ^^; I am planning on calling you sometime this week, depends on how things go...my mom has been very angry at my dad lately, even going as far to wish that he would pack up and leave. (At times I think that if she weren't Catholic they'd be divorced by now.) Well anyhow, I'd love to talk to Nicole and Cody, too! ^_^

I agree with both of those rules of life. ^^

I haven't caught Moltres yet. ;_; Bill just swept me off to some islands after defeating Blaine, so that's where I currently am.

Excessive optimism is at least better than excessive pessimism. ^^;; My extremely sunny personality annoys some people, though.

Hope your parents stop fighting. ;_; Call anytime, okay? Like I said, I can't absolutely guarantee I'll be home, but if I'm not you can always just call back a little later. I'm usually home on weekdays from about 5 PM-10 PM (which is when I got to sleep). You could try earlier, but most of the time Mom picks me up from school and I hang around at her house 'til Dad picks me up on his way back from work.
