I can't believe it!

...Anyway (though it is difficult to change the subject), I'm currently planning on going to Anime Overdose (March 4-6 in San Francisco), ReccaCon (March 19th in Pittsburg, CA), Fanime (of course) (May 27-30 in San Jose), and Anime Expo (July 1-4 in Anaheim). AND I must go to AnimeFest 2005 if it kills me. *Starts counting her meager amounts of money and tries to figure out how she's going to pay for all those big conventions, plus a trip to Texas, plus buy all of her CDs back, plus all the other random anime stuff she buys*

I still have to catch up on your other entries...gomen! <.< There is a small chance I could go to Anime Fest! I have a relative in Texas and I haven't been to Texas in over a year, so maybe...I'll ask. Scott McNeil is also a hilarious guy, though he probably doesn't seem like much compared to Maaya Sakamoto. XD

Also, if you see that Yuki Kajiura (or FictionJunction or See-saw or any of her bands) are going to be at a con, let me know. Like you, I would pay any price to see her. I searched anime-cons.com yesterday, but since you frequent that site much more than I do I'm sure, please let me know if you see anything!

OMG, you should definitely come to Anime Fest Hitchi! You could hang out with Nicole and Cody and I and whoever else can come. That would be awesome!

I solemnly swear that if I heard that Yuki Kajiura or See-saw or FictionJunction were going to a con, I'd e-mail you before I even finished reading the sentence it said it in. ^_^

Okay...Anime Fest for me is a no go... T_T Maybe I shouldn't've got so excited about it and said something. My mom was so quick to answer, though. I don't know why...I started out nice and easy!

Me: "So, when's the next time we're going to Texas?"
Mom: "I dunno, spring break, maybe..."
Me: "Oh, ok..."
Mom: "Why do you-- oh, is there an anime convention or something?"
Me: "Um...yes!"
Mom: "Where and when?"
Me: "Dallas and September second to fi--"
Mom: "No."
I could not give up there! Me: "But Maaaaaya Sakamooooto is going to be there!"
Mom & Dad: "Who?!"
Me: "Maaya Sakamoto!"
Mom: "Like we know who that is!"
Dad: "Remember, we hate that kind of stuff!"
Mom: *scolds my dad*
Me: "Mom, remember Yoko Kanno who've I told you about like three times?"
Mom: "Possibly..."
Then I tried to explain to my mom who exactly Maaya Sakamoto was, but no one was paying attention. Then my mom mentioned something random about how a lot of dubbing production is done in the Houston and Dallas areas, which I already knew. XD

Sorry for transcribing that whole convo (it's pretty pointless), I guess maybe I'm frustrated/disappointed. I'm still going to try to go...it's a long way off, janou...
