First off, sorry for no posts over the last two days. I was feeling a little gloomy and tired (and I was watching Naruto for about three hours last night...) the past two days, so I never got around to feeling like writing.

That said, I woke up this morning to Dad going, "Hey, look outside!" At first I didn't see anything, but when I looked out another window, I realized that there was about a half inch of snow on the ground! This is ironic because just that last night, we had been saying that we didn't think it was going to snow any time soon. Despite the fact it was still snowing, school was on, so I got ready and Dad drove me there in his work van.

I popped in and listened to the choir for a little while, and once the bell rang, off to first period. First period was relatively boring... I spent most of the time reading one of the books I got for Christmas and telling Mrs. McDaniel that I would have my story done by Thursday. ^^;; I actually have no intentions of doing it--too much other homework, I don't like the prompt, and I have a good grade in the class anyway.

Naturally, I was wearing shorts like always, so I got a lot of "You're crazy!"-type comments. I smiled and waved at the people and reassured them that I wasn't cold.

Second period, we...sat around and did absolutely nothing other than hope school would be cancelled. I was watching the snow fall outside the window for much of the period. Mr. Ostrom, for whatever reason, let the whole class just sit around and do nothing, instead of reviewing for the final (which I don't have to do, because he's allowing A-pass).

Anatomy, we took muscle notes and worked on a worksheet.

TA period, I mainly did drawings of wolves on the whiteboard. By the time that was over, the school had pretty much collectively given up on the idea of a partial snow day. We still fell silent and strained our ears every time anything was announced over the PA.

Lunch...ummm...not much happened at lunch. Nicole and I listened to Women's choir for a little while, we chased Cody around and hugged him because he smelled like coconut again (he uses shampoo that smells like coconut, which causes us to give him even more hugs than usual ^^;;), and we...ate...food... Nicole got a burrito from the cafeteria that was smothered with enchilada sauce (you could hardly tell what it was), and after eating half of it, Cody concluded it was "the most wannabe lasagna I have ever eaten." Amusing. ^^;;

Right *right* after lunch, some falling snow set off a fire alarm. Naturally, we didn't know that at the time and assumed it was some kid. Nicole and I were nowhere near our classes (which are all the way across the school), so we followed Cody and some of our other friends up to the parking lot near the theater. There we stood around and found more friends, conversing briefly. Ricky found us, and Cody went up and gave him a hug for unknown reasons, which left Nicole and I squeeing for at least ten minutes. ^^; Ricky and Cody both promised that one of them would kiss the other on the cheek or something when we were in a building (NOT in front of the entire school) and when Nicole and I had a camera. XD;; Hooray!

Someone gave Cody a bookmark of this funny-looking creature thing, so he was making it bite my nose while we chatted with a group of our friends. We got in an engaging discussion-- "Does Pac-man live to eat, or eat to live?" XP

I howled a number of times throughout the day, and sang Cloud 9 under my breath. This is generally what I do when it snows, because it always reminds me of Wolf's Rain.

Eventually we all went to our respective classes. Trig was average. Mr. Harter has been giving us lots of homework lately, which is what I need to do once I finish this entry.

In English, we discussed the 1920's and the stock market crash of 1929 for the whole period. This turned very engaging, because the kids in the class were demanding to know exactly how the money all managed to "disappear" at the same time, when there was the same static amount in existence. This took up at least twenty minutes and became a complex discussion about the economy. I need to start reading The Great Gatsby tonight.

After school, John, Kirstin, and I held a discussion on religion (and how we interpret the Bible as a metaphor, and not literal at all), which dissolved into an argument over whether goats or sheep are smarter, and, ultimately, is everything in the universe a goat? It was funny. The subject changed rapidly and I'm in a bit of a hurry to get offline, so I won't go into further detail.

While I waited for Mom (late as usual), I whistled almost the entirity of Wolf's Rain OST2, in addition to Birds (Maaya Sakamoto) as I stood in the snow with wet shoes and in about an inch of snow.

Went home, took a shower, and then Cody randomly showed up. :D We watched Cops for about five minutes, discussed the stupidity of the human race, and watched AMVs! Bwahaha. I downloaded about thirty new ones. He borrowed around twenty of those so he could upload them to his computer. He still smelled like coconut. ^^;; Then he paid my Mom back for some of the stuff from the San Francisco trip (he forgot to go to the bank before we left on the trip, and therefore was almost money-less). Exchanged hugs, said goodbye, warned about the free-roaming horse on our property (Mom let Rascal out to wander around as he wished), and then he left.

Now, here I am. I *really* need to get my homework going.

Gomen for any typos (no proofreading of any sort), and I'm sorry if I don't post a lot this week. I'm on Mom's computer (dial-up) and finals are next week.

It's okay, I won't let Cody near Hikaru. XD

Actually, it'd be Cody/Ricky. XD;; One of the few times where we could define who would be seme and who would be uke with Cody in the mix. Ricky's definitely uke. *...Mew, save me. I'm deranged... O.O;* I'll show you the picture once we take it and once we stop being lazy and actually figure out the problem with the digital camera.

Yeah, I suppose I am lucky. I still have to write a 5-10 page story for Creative Writing and an essay for English, though. >.< In addition to my math final and Anatomy final.
