I'm rather proud of myself because I did more writing on my Wolf's Rain fanfic, Charcoal Skies, last night before I went to bed. :D It's about three pages long now, but that's good considering I've been very careful writing it and I'm taking my time. It'll probably be about six pages total...

Today was another good day. Mostly pretty usual, but I'll log anything mildly interesting I can think of anyway.

First period, I read my Newtype for a little while, then Rae and I were chatting. She wants to see Gravitation, but I explained to her that my first volume of it is signed by Tomokazu Seki <3, so I can't exactly lend it out to anyone. I'm paranoid enough about it as it is. Then I was telling her about how I stood in line (in my costume) for about six hours for his autograph while my friends brought me food and the such. This somehow sparked a story idea in her head, so now she's creating something twisted and strange out of my Tomokazu Seki autograph experience. XD *Amused*

Second period, we discussed immigration. THANK MEW AND HO-OH, Mr. Ostrom removed the nekkid Santa picture. I can live again without BURNING MY EYES OUT.

Third period, I was telling Erin about how someday I want to spend a week re-enacting the entire series of Wolf's Rain scene-by-scene, casting people we know as the characters. The thing is, we want to act it out in the middle of school, with no explanation whatsoever.

Think about it. I'm sitting in class like normal, when suddenly someone random who has been casted as Quent runs into my class and shoots me with a water gun. Both of us start spouting lines, and the acting out continues for a whole week, interrupting classes, disturbing people in the hall, and confusing the general populus. It would be wickedly fun. XD Lots of memorizing, absolutely silly, but so fun it'd all be worth it. We want to cast people as characters that either a) they fit well in personality or looks or both, or b) they are such an opposite of the character, it would be priceless to see them playing that part.

I explained to Erin the Toboe vs. Walrus episode, and we formulated ideas as to how we could act that fight scene out. >D We decided we'd dress John in a walrus suit (merely because John makes a good victim), stick him in a kiddy pool filled with blue paper (intended to look like water--merely because it would be even less sensical than actual water), and have someone cast as Toboe attack him. We'd also have someone on the sidelines throwing ice cubes into this whole mix. XD This mental image amuses me to no end. It was another laugh-'til-you-cry type of scenario.

Fourth period was fairly normal, except that Lisa was hanging around during lunch as Rory rambled on and on about what he considers to be sports and what he doesn't. It was really quite funny.

Lisa: "Is horseback riding a sport, Rory?"
Rory: "NOOO!"
Lisa: "Then why is it so competitive, if it's not even a sport?"
Rory: "Well, MOUSETRAP is competitive, but it's not a sport, now is it?"
Lisa: "Where did you make that connection?" O_o;
Rory: "Well, they both involve animals. Except Mousetrap doesn't involve animals. I lied."

It went on to golf not being a sport, back to Mousetrap three or four times, and then on to Monopoly. I piped in at that point and was talking about forming alliances and nations in Monopoly. I have found that to be quite effective, if I do say so myself.

I think lunch was normal again.

So was Trig.

So was English 3 Honors. We discussed Beloved, which caused some very intense analyzing. It was fun.

That just about sums up my day. Mom and I went and got a burrito after we picked Ryan up, I played my Pokémon Leaf Green Version, and now I'm at Dad's again. I'm waiting for KK to call when she finishes the last four episodes of Wolf's Rain (which I let her borrow).

....Yeah. That's cool, though, I want to meet a Japanese celebrity! 6 hours is...a long time. I don't know if I could do that, uexcept maybe if it were Sanae Kobayashi, Yuki Kajiura, or Nanase Oukawa. =D

The WR skits sound awesome. I would be Toboe, if I went to your school like I've been wanting, even though I'm probably no good for the part. XP It would be outstanding if you did that, though, and made sure to get some on film! ^_^

At an anime convention, the lines are bearable (even for really long amounts of time). :D You can spend the whole time talking to random people about anime and reading manga and stuff.

You'll have to get used to the long lines if you want to go to Anime Expo ever. ^^;; I was in the registration line for about three and a half hours, and I went into the registration room at 6 AM the first day. My friends, who arrived at about 1 PM that day, had to wait for...about 6 hours also. Those were the biggest lines I have ever seen in my entire life.

We also had to wait 3-or-so hours for Tomokazu Seki's panel. Nicole and I were furious because, after all that time in the line, we got seats near the middle-back, but Cody somehow figured out a way to sneak in (without us), and sat in the FRONT ROW directly next to CRISPIN FREEMAN. When Nicole and I heard this, we almost killed him. ^^;;

Yeah, I'm cast for Toboe in the Wolf's Rain skits. XD Not that I look anything like him (though I act kind of like him), but that's not the point. My friends and I, just for the fun of it, created a Wolf's Rain cast list with people we know.
