What a boring weekend...

Definitely not much to report. Saturday, I spent the vast majority of the day watching anime. Let's see... I watched the two episodes of Pokémon, RahXephon 1-5, and Wolf's Rain 11-14 on my own. While I enjoyed them all thoroughly, I wish my Dad would've taken us somewhere to do something. Makayla came over at about 8 PM, and we continued watching mroe anime. We watched Gravitation 11-13, and then RahXephon episode one, and then dozed off around midnight.

Then we woke up this morning, watched Wolf's Rain 11-14 (for no apparent reason--I had watched those episodes the day before, and Makayla's already watched the whole series with me), more RahXephon, and then she left. I spent the rest of the day sitting around doing nothing, meandering around town and going to all the boring stores that we've been two ten billion times, and that was about it. Dad didn't want to drive anywhere out of town because he felt lazy.

I think my brain is going to collapse out of boredom. I mean, at least I got to watch a bunch of anime, but the weekend was still just...zzz...

There are definitely cons to living in a small town. -_-; I wanna take a nap now.

Yeah, while I personally think Inuyasha is pretty cheezy and such, I do love the theme songs and ending themes. My Mom, ironically enough, loves the Inuyasha music, too. XD It always confuses people when I talk about not being much of an Inuyasha fan, and also mention that I can sing all the themes and ending themes all the way through. XP That's just the kind of person I am. I catch on to Japanese lyrics faster than anyone I know.

Speaking of writing, I have a 2-3 page Creative Writing project due Wednesday, so I have to work on that tonight. It's possible, if I continue getting stumped for ideas, that I'll incorporate fanfiction into the equation. Hey, it's not like anyone is going to know... My Creative Writing teacher adores my writing, so I don't think it matters what I write about. XP I even did a weird pseudo-Wolf's Rain fanfic and a RahXephon fanfic, too.

No spiffy violin songs that I know of. Gravitation is pretty much hyperactive techno/J-pop-type stuff, though the background music is pretty and considerably softer. ^^; I recommend... Sleepless Beauty (but not if you're feeling subdued)), Sleepless Beauty Sacred Air Mix (pretty sure that's what it's called--because of the whole CD theft thing, I haven't been able to get the OSTs yet), Glaring Dream, and...*thinks*...I don't know the titles of most of the background music. ^^;; Gravitation music is fun. It's very upbeat and genki. I don't really know what to specifically recommend, though.

Uau, Dearest!! Did you know Do As Infinity worked on that song, too? Sorry, I say that every time I mention Dearest. XD I'm kinda crazy, I just jumped up out of my computer chair and did jumping jacks to Butterfly Kiss by Chihiro Yonekura. XD

If you're bored, you should write fanfics, or start a new project, even if you don't plan on finishing it. That's what I do (and also why I have so many unfinished projects. O.o)

By the way, which Gravitation song do you recommend most? Are there are any with spiffy violin parts? ^^;

I think I can relate with how you feel about living in a small town. But in my case town is replaced with country. ^^; I hope your next weekend gets to be more interesting that the last one.
