Just finished watching Wolf's Rain episode 30, yet again. No matter how many times I watch it, I don't think it'll ever stop giving me major shivers. I even got a little teary at Cheza's final speech. Which is saying a lot. When I say I've seen this episode many, many times, I do mean many, *many* times.

Oh, some notes on dubbed Episode 29. They cut out Toboe's final, valiant act at the beginning. ;_; For commercials, of course. I was watching the episode with Nicole on Saturday night, and we were laughing ironically to ourselves whenever the commercials started because they were such a contrast to the grim attitude of 29. Speaking of which, the commercial break was in the weirdest spot--right as Tsume starts recounting his past. Nicole and I were both like "WTF?!" when the commercial started then. Oh, and Crispin Freeman did an excellent job in that monologue. Seriously. Really, *really* excellent. This is saying a lot from someone who has seen Wolf's Rain as many times in Japanese as I have. And actually, I think I liked Blue's "Don't go..." to Quent instead of the Japanese "Oyaji-san..." (Father)

Anyway. Today was a weird day. It was a minimum day at school, which usually is a very cheerful event. It was, for a while, but then something in my brain kind of switched and now I'm a little on the gloomy side. Don't know why.

During Trigonometry today, Trevor and I were reprimanded because Trevor wouldn't stop talking to me about Gravitation during class. XP It was kind of funny, actually. "Kristin--who's Tatsuha? Is Ryuichi that guy who's in the band with Shuichi? Is Tohma bi?"

And I did a book report on Howl's Moving Castle today. Not sure what that has to do with anything, but I thought I should share.

The weekend was a lot of fun. Much anime was watched throughout Saturday, including me achieving my life's dream--for Cody to watch RahXephon. Interesting life's dream, huh? Anyway, the three of us (Nicole, Cody, and I) watched RahXephon as we were all piled on Nicole's bed, and Nicole and I kept irritating Cody by pausing it and explaining things unneccessarily, or just asking him if he knew what was going on. Everytime anyone bled, we made a joke out of it by pausing it and going, "Notice the blood. It's important. At first, we meant it, when Asahina got cut in the subway crash and stuff, but after a while we were just being ridiculous.

Then we went over to Cody's house and he made us rice (thanks Cody! ^^), and then we ate a bunch of candy and watched him play video games (commenting on all the characters, naturally). Cody had to go to his choir concert, so Nicole and I went back to my house and watched Mysterious Ways for three hours or something. Seeing as my dad was going to a concert, we got a ride from him over to my mom's house, because I wanted to see Wolf's Rain and I only have Cartoon Network at my mom's.

On the way, we stopped at K-Mart. Doesn't sound exciting, but trust me, my friends and I can make it exciting. We went to the Halloween section, fumed for a while over the fact that you can buy Harry Potter costumes ("Isn't that cheating? It's the cheapest cosplay I've ever seen!"), and then decided to dress me up. I wore a Spiderman mask, a witch hat, a sparkly tiara, and a cloak that looked like it was made out of a garbage bag, and then I proceeded to whack the giant inflatable ghost near the front of the store with a broom. It was priceless. Lots of weirdness points for that one.

When we got to my mom's, we started out watching Mysterious Ways (we hadn't finished 'Listen'). When we finished that, we watched Gravitation for a half hour, but then we wanted to make fun of Inuyasha, so we turned off Gravitation and watched Inuyasha. As usual, lots of corniness, bizarreness, and "WTF"-ness ensued, so we had a field day with that. There was even a giant shriveled-up thing attacking the village! We debated over what it was for a while, and then moved on to going on about how beautiful the 'ship was between Sesshomaru and that little green thing that follows him around. When that was over, it was Wolf's Rain time, but I already talked about that. After that, Ballad of the Fallen Angels episode of Bebop. Another thing I've seen a bazillion times and never get sick of. Nicole and I pointed out every single edit and recited a lot of lines with the characters. It was fun. Then we went back to Gravitation for a few hours, and Ryuichi's concert turned us both into slobbering fangirls. To put it lightly.

Once we finished Gravi, we decided to call Cody because we had promised him we would, however we soon discovered that Nicole had lost his cell phone number. That's what you get for putting it in your shirt, Nicole. -_-;; We dialed random numbers for a while, which scared all the wrong numbers we got, and finally gave up for the fear of disturbing any more people.

In fact, after my dad picked us up past midnight, Nicole and I spent a good three hours (possibly more) pairing Ryuichi with every male we could think of, whether they were from anime, books, movies, or real people. Yeah, we were kind of insane at the moment. Then Nicole verbally created a very clichéd and corny Tohma/Sakano fanfic for unknown reasons, and that was...odd. Eventually we fell asleep, but it took a long time.

Sunday I went over to Nicole's for a while, and we showed anime pictures we had saved to each other. Then we walked down to Café Mekka (bearing a picture of Cody in his Shuichi costume doing shounen-ai with a random person), only to find that Makayla (who we intended to disturb with the picture) couldn't come. Oh well. We met up with Kathryn and Ciera, went back to Nicole's, ate, went back to Mekka, met up with Cody there, and went to Pioneer Park to play frisbee. That was hilarious, but eventually Cody accidentily threw his twenty-five cent frisbee into a blackberry bush, and we were unable to retrieve it.

So we moved on to the playground. This, of course, was quite an adventure. All the little kids were watching us the whole time we were playing, and I think we might have scared them by being even more immature than they were. We intentionally got stuck in the big green slide, we scaled the playground, pretending it was a ship, we climbed all over the bars of the house, and we even decided to take a trip to Vegas via the fake truck that was there. Of course, our Vegas plans didn't pan out, because I was driving and Cody decided to dance on the windshield, obstructing my view and causing a crash. We put him in "jail", which was actually a circular thing of bars you were supposed to climb up. There were a couple rather silly moments in our trip, but seeing as none of our playful meanderings made much sense, it's kind of hard to describe what exactly went on.

Cody and Ciera left after that, but Nicole, Kathryn, and I went back to Nicole's and made teriyaki. Then my dad called me home, and I reluctantly did my homework. Yay.

And now I'm feeling "Meh" and I don't want to study for my Anatomy test tomorrow, and I don't want to do my math homework, and I don't want to look up quotes and formulate ideas for the in-class essay tomorrow for English. ;_; I hate in-class essays with a passion.

In fact, what I feel like doing right now is doing a GIANT painting of Darcia in wolf form. Bwahaha. Maybe I'll do a colored-pencil picture once I finish my homework. Oh, and once I finish e-mailing this fan of my fanfiction. *Puffs up proudly*

Hey Toboe~! Thanks for posting that.

Sorry for not keeping in touch regularly. x.x Ugh... I'm *SO* busy. But I was thinking about you yesterday. ^^

Oh, and I did a really freaky picture of Darcia in wolf form yesterday. I have to go on AIM and show you some of my Wolf's Rain art some time... *Has gobs of it*

Anyway, that's really cool you're working on your site--it'll be nice to have around. Well, it's 7 AM and I have to get to school. See you!
