pacificpikachuI got back from my Tahoe trip yesterday evening. It was a nice trip!
The best part was undoubtedly the night before last. There was a big dance party going on at the lodge (which is in sight of our townhouse). The people had crazy hats and kept playing upbeat dance songs from the last, oh, five decades. My cousins and I started out doing YMCA with them from the balcony of our townhouse, but then went down to the lodge area (by the beach) to dance closer to the party itself.
My nine-year-old cousin invited himself to the party a few times and went up and danced with the people, but we older people had a harder time convincing ourselves to do that.
My cousins, two of my cousin's friends, myself, and later on, two little girls, did all kinds of silly dancing on the beach. Then somehow we started doing yoga (...?!), and then dancing while throwing a soft football to each other, even in the dark.
Then we all jumped in the lake, in our clothes, and danced in the lake in the moonlight. It was awesome.
I can't believe it's August already!
