pacificpikachuEee, so I got my Eevee to evolve into Umbreon on Conquest! Such adorable Umbreon art in the game! (Well, Umbreon is flashing its butt at you when you go into battle, but still, haha.) I love the Umbreon art when your character is happy. I hope I can find more Eevees so I can train more of the evolutions.
I beat Mitsuhide and I'm training to go up against Nobunaga! I'm scared to go up against him and his Zekrom, but it's going to be amazing once I do beat him.
I watched the second Macross Frontier movie last night! (No spoilers here.) I loved it! So many feelings. I felt the plot was a bit too convoluted for such a short movie duration (or maybe it's just that my degree of caring about the plot in Macross Frontier has always been so-so), but otherwise I enjoyed it a bunch. The concert scenes were crazy! I imagine concerts might look amazing like that, someday.
As usual now, I pretty much disregarded the official shipping and continued my love of Sheryl/Ranka instead. Which, despite the official love triangle and all, I feel works well. They had some great scenes together! I feel like they have better chemistry with each other than Alto has with anyone. I just...cannot bring myself to be more than indifferent about Alto. His characterization was a little better in the movies, but I just can't bring myself to like him, no matter how pretty he is. I guess the way he's written just doesn't appeal to me, though I can't complete pinpoint why. I normally love main characters of series so it's unusual for me.
Hnnghhh, again some of the scenery was so pretty! *A* Of course, the music always makes me incredibly happy/sad/everything. Anyway, Macross Frontier will never be one of the deeper series in my opinion (though the music stirs up deep feelings), but it's certainly fun, exciting, and makes me super happy. It does an awesome job at being entertaining. And I will forever love Ranka and Sheryl, and a lot of the minor characters. ♥
I won a new SatoKasu doujin I've been wanting for a long time cheaply! I'm glad to win a new doujin cheaply for once, oftentimes they go for a lot. I lost one doujin on my wants list twice recently that pops up infrequently. The first time it popped up, I figured I might not win, but the second time I thought I had it. No one bid on it at all, and then I got outbid at the last moment. Oh well, it'll come around again! I won another SatoKasu doujin a week or so ago, too, so that makes three I'll have in the mail once I do my next (much smaller) shipments of stuff. The third doujin I won, quite a while ago, was one of my highest priority wants, but I haven't had it shipped yet. I'm excited to get it! My doujin collection is getting bigger, yay. It grows slowly, but whenever I get even one new one, it's really exciting to me.
The little serama chick that hatched the other day didn't make it. I figured it wouldn't--it hatched with its umbilical area all bloody for some reason, and it was clearly weak, so I guess it just wasn't meant to survive. But, Inca hatched two healthy chicks yesterday and is still sitting on several more eggs that should be hatching soon as well!
