pacificpikachuI had nothing to talk about for a while there! I've been online a bunch lately, but pretty much all I've been doing is saving things from Pixiv, tracking auctions on Y!J, updating my AMV collection to include some of the older AMVs I've missed having, and burning AMV DVDs. Basically, being internet anti-social, but not in a bad way necessarily because I'm enjoying it.
I posted fanfiction online for the first time in a long time! I'll link if anyone wants. It's a short one-shot and not exciting at all, but I've gotten a few positive reviews so that makes me happy. I started two others, but one...I don't know if it's going to go anywhere because I can't escape telling instead of showing and passive voice so it's boring, and the other reads awkwardly I think but I'll probably finish it anyway. All SatoKasu/AAML, AKA my OTP that I'm ridiculously obsessed with even though for some reason talking about the extent of my obsession with it makes me embarrassed. I don't know why, I don't get embarrassed about any of my other pairings and it's a popular enough pairing, but I guess because this one has been with me so long and because it affects me emotionally more than I want to admit.
When I posted about feeling sick, it passed quickly, thankfully! I think that's going around, my dad said one of his friends had the exact same symptoms for one day, too. I've been fairly slow and tired in general, but I blame the fact that I'm almost certain I have thyroid issues. I'm just trying to get a doctor's appointment so I can get a referral to an endocrinologist. And now it's that time of the month, oh joy. Emotionally I'm in good spirits, despite feeling somewhat physically drained and forgetful.
I'm petsitting starting tomorrow, and then petsitting for two people simultaneously for a few days (kind of intense, but it's going to work all right), plus working and caring for my own animals. So, tomorrow until the 9th is going to be interesting. But hey, I like all the animals I'm watching, none of them are difficult to care for, and I'll make some money so finances should be pretty decent in April and hopefully May (FANIME!) if I budget things out. Just gotta keep a good calendar so I don't forget anything, and it's going to be a lot of driving.
I've won some interesting things on Y!J lately! Mostly just little things, nothing all that big or exciting, but I did win another cel of Ash/Misty/Brock. A scene I totally recognize, yay, and it didn't go that high. I'll share more of the cel and all the other items when I get the packages themselves.
Going to post some scans later, I think, if I don't get too distracted.
