pacificpikachuThank you to all who wished me a happy birthday! My birthday itself was mostly uneventful because Mom and I didn't leave for San Francisco until fairly late (I slept most of the rest of the day), but the 15th was great! We stayed in this awesome anime-themed hotel called Hotel Tomo right next to Japantown, and spent the whole day shopping, haha. I bought some Japanese Pokémon books (mostly 4koma and quiz and others with cute illustrations), a Ranka illustration book, a Dragonite pillow plush mint with tags for pretty cheap (going to sell my used condition one if I can), some binders to store my settei and clearfiles in, mochi and Japanese candy, and mom and I got a bunch of things for the house at Daiso. Some other little things but I'd have to go through and see what.
Zoe joined me for dinner, which made me super happy because I miss her. ;0; I wish we could have spent more time together, but oh well!
Work was super busy again today but I got a lot done, and the weather has been insane. One of my four coops has about three inches deep of water rushing through it. I've never seen it that flooded, ever! I think Kyogre is here or something. Just as I thought would happen eventually, the last few days have been making up for the dry winter we've had so far. I mean, some houses in the area are probably going to flood.
A grail-ish doujin for me showed up, but I doubt I'll be able to win it! I'm going to try, but I suspect it'll go way out of my limited price range. Well, everything shows up again, right?
Bob is currently indoors, and she's on the couch with me nursing on my arm with her claws out, aughh. Kind of cute and kind of painful/annoying.
Currently attempting to put together a key that came off on my keyboard, and figure out why my alt codes aren't working again. The alt code issue has happened a few times and it drives me up the wall because I use é all the time. Having to copy and paste it is too much trouble with how much I use it!
