Tragedy...

I woke up this morning and found three of my seramas (Splash (one of my original three seramas and the best mother hen ever), Cinnamon, and Tawny) and my male butterscotch call duck Fakir, killed by a raccoon. I'm really shaken up, but seeing as Fanime is today I'm postponing my emotional reaction until after I get back. I moved the birds around, hopefully they'll be safe now. I've lost six birds to this raccoon now. Mom and my brother are going to protect the remaining ones.

Anyway, regardless, I will not let this bring Fanime down for me at all. I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest. I can mourn when I get home.
