Ack, I totally forgot to write again yesterday, didn't I? It's not like I have an excuse this time... I spent most of the day yesterday doing such productive and thoughtful things as downloading and burning Loveless, watching Naruto 135-137, and...err...attempting to decorate Hitchi's letter to make it look more interesting (and failing when I realized I had no tape. And then finding the tape at bedtime. But it was too late by then. So I'll decorate it tomorrow.)

I am now homework-free for the Junior year~! YATTA! I finished that story I was writing ("Chain", it is entitled) on Wednesday in one freakin' long sitting (5 hours? More?), and therefore have been homework-free since then. :D

Chain didn't turn out how I wanted it to. ;_; Oh well.

Today...was a fun day.

I arrived early to school, goofed off with my friends in the middle room as usual, and then went to our "Study period" in Creative Writing. Not much happened there. Mrs. McDaniel is awesome and treated as all to donuts. Rae and I giggled over those four SasuNaru pictures I printed about a month ago. Pathetic. Ana, Uiloq, and Yuri were giggling, too, though, so apparently they like shounen-ai. Yuri was reading Paradise Kiss and was quite absorbed. XD She's going to get back to Japan and her friends are going to be confused as to how going to America got her more into manga.

Then I went to my US History final... Dad lent me a shirt from a concert at the Philmore [sp?] in 1967-1968, and that was my whole apparel for my 1960's skit with Randi and Molly. When our skit finally came, it was the dorkiest and most boring thing ever. XD Randi's cardboard TV screen she made for us to broadcast out of kept falling apart, so we had to hire Kelly and...I forget his name to hold it up for us. And I drew the most dysfuctional moon EVER on the board. The skit was just...bakana overall, but apparently we aced it anyway. A lot of the other skits were crazily detailed, and many were so dorky the whole class was laughing. It was all in good humor, though. I'm glad that stupid thing is over. @_@

In Creative Writing, it was a read-your-final final. Most people made me mad because they took the easy way out and just did poetry journals, and then would read two-line poems and it was kind of lame. A lot of the poems really weren't that good, too. A few people did stories, and theirs were okay... I saved my story for last out of concern for time, as it is approximately seven and a half pages long in 10 font.

So, I got up and read it. Apparently, everyone really liked it, which kind of surprised me because I didn't think it was nearly as good as it potentially could have been. James even went so far as to say I'm an excellent writer and he thinks this is my best work. O...kay. Unexpected there. Ashley said she hates me because she's jealous. XD So, a good reaction. I hope they take the lesson to heart...that's the point of the story.

Rae and I said goodbye to our exchange student friends, as it is unlikely we will see them again. ;_; It was sad having to say goodbye to them... They're so awesome. We all exchanged hugs and promised to keep in contact. Yuri promised to send me stuff from Japan, which triggered an immediate "YES!" reaction from me. Ana had me do a bunch of drawings in her yearbook for her.

After school ended, I went and was sitting on the floor of the choir room with Cody, KK, Selah, and people. It felt like the last day of school, even though it wasn't. Everyone was flurrying around, signing yearbooks, giving hugs, pestering each other...

Mom picked me up shortly after that. We went to SPD and did other unexciting things, I sang along to anime music in the car, and then Mom dropped me off at home. I think I was more tired than I thought I was, because I ended up lounging on the couch and watching such exciting things as Dr. Phil. w00t.

Actually, though, as I was channel-surfing, I discovered a movie called "Watchers". I immediately perked up at the title, because a great book I read had the same title. I clicked "Info", and, what do you know? It's based off the book. It had just started, so I ended up watching the whole thing.

AUGH, someone burn my eyes out! It was the single WORST book-to-movie I have EVER seen. I don't think there was a single scene that matched the original book. They turned the main character from a twenty-something-year-old guy to a fifteen-year-old kid, and...NOTHING was like it was in the book. I won't even get started. The movie was complete and utter crap. I'm sorry, but it was.

After this ended and I took a shower, Mom picked me up after getting Ryan at school and we went and saw Star Wars.

My favorite part of the movie was the lizard thing that Obi-Wan was riding. I'm not even joking. I'm in love with it. How it moved just like a lizard and it made those noises and... It was simply wonderful. *_* I should start a fansite for it or something, it was so awesome.

Yoda continues to kick butt, and I liked how his ears moved.

The special effects were, of course, awesome and wonderful, too. So cool-looking!

As far as the storyline goes...meh, it was pretty good. It was nice seeing that Anakin had valid reasons to go to the Dark Side. I still felt no sympathy for anyone really in the movie. The movie was so bogged down with plot that it didn't have enough heart for me to feel for anyone.

I was mad when Mace Windu died, for some reason. He was a cool character...

All the reviews I read of the movie made it sound like the most moving, tragic, dramatic thing in a long time, but I don't agree. I felt little emotion, to be honest. This is not to say it wasn't epic or well-done (because it was)...it just wasn't all that deep, emotional, or touching. Of course, it is Star Wars we're talking about here (^_~) and I don't consider myself a Star Wars person. Sure, I like it, it's okay...but I wouldn't consider myself a fan.

I give it a B overall. It served its purpose and was awesome, but it isn't going to change my life any time soon. It could have gotten an A+ if it had centered purely on Obi-Wan's lizard, but we all know that's not going to happen [unfortunately].

OMG, it's been almost two weeks since Fanime, and I still haven't written my Fanime report! Mew knows I want to, but it just hasn't worked out so I can yet... I can't wait to start doing it.

Oh, and so you all know--I might not be posting much (maybe even not at all) next week because Mom's computer is having serious issues for no apparent reason. *Uses Chidori on it* It won't even let us open Internet Explorer. It might be a virus, but I'm not sure yet.

I have to figure out a way to get back home from school tomorrow, as both Dad and Mom are going to be at work, and I think Cody might be busy...

Better go to bed, even though I have nothing but parties tomorrow!
