pacificpikachuWoohoo, an item with Umbreon on it that I've never seen before, and I won it for only 100 yen! It's a notebook. Very cute! :3 I love finding new Umbreon stuff, especially if I don't get any competition for it.
I also won a non-working Mew DS, which I'm happy about. It's not in the greatest shape or anything, but, hey, I'm not complaining! I've wanted a Mew DS for a while just for collection purposes, not for actual use, and this was pretty cheap. I'd still love a mint one with box and everything, but...uhhh when I will be able to afford that is questionable. And like I said, I'm just looking for one for collection purposes and not to use, so that's a lot to spend on something I won't use.
I had a lot of fun catching up on Pokémon Best Wishes yesterday! I was originally going to go with my mom to visit my grandma yesterday but I didn't have a lot of energy so I felt like I needed a "sit around and chill" day. I must say, I'm really enjoying Best Wishes so far. It's so cute and charming!
I adore Satoshi's hilarious and wonderful Mijumaru and cute/brave female (YAY I LOVE FEMALE KENHOROU I HOPE SHE EVOLVES) Mamepato in particular, but really I love his whole team. Kibago is cute, too. As for the human characters, I surprisingly like this trio. I knew I'd love Dento as soon as Mamoru Miyano was announced because he's my favorite male seiyuu and I tend to love his characters, but I like Iris more than I ever thought I would considering the ridiculousness of her character design. The three human characters are an interesting combination, I rather enjoy their friendship. (And for the record, I ship none of them with each other. XD) I've accepted that I will never cherish newer Pokéanime as much as I do the first few seasons because I'm nostalgic like that, but that's not to say at all that I don't enjoy the newer series. Best Wishes is really wonderful thusfar. It makes me happy! ♥
Also, it seems a rescue of around 400 hens is going to happen at my work! I made the call on Friday and things were all falling together last I heard. I'll get updated on the status of the rescue on Tuesday when I'm back at work!
Other than still being a little sad about last weekend's chicken losses, everything is going well. I intend to put up the Christmas tree today and hopefully clean up the house some, do laundry, etc. I really really need to package and send stuff as well as work on my commissions but I have to go get supplies to do those two things and of course this one free day is also Sunday when most stores in my area are closed. ><
Aaaand time to finally make a post of what I'm hunting for and also get links to everyone else's wanted posts! :3 I'm going to do it in a separate entry for the sake of ease, though.
