OMGFANIMEEEEE~!!

pacificpikachuYes, it is tomorrow. You may or may not hear from me before then, but chances are you aren't.
As is completely obvious, I'm sure, there will not be entries in this journal until possibly (but probably not) Monday night, and (more likely) Tuesday evening.
So...my day? It was animeful.
I was up late last night because of that nap I took in the afternoon, so I amused myself by saving unhealthy amounts of Naruto LJ icons. Lots of funny and pretty ones. I want to use this adorable Shikamaru one I found, but first I have to figure out who made it so I can credit them.
I fell asleep at midnight, and woke up sometime before 6 AM with my mind going "FANIMEFANIMEFANIME!" and it wouldn't shut up and allow me to go back to sleep, so I got up and printed a few SasuNaru pictures to show Rae.
So...um...Dad drove me to school, and I went and watched the choir in the theater with Nicole, who shared cosplay problems with me. She was having trouble sewing some of the shirt, so she enlisted Cody to do it during his first and second period classes. ^^;
In Creative Writing, Rae and I basically oogled the shounen-ai for the whole period. It was terribly, pathetically fangirlish. We kept looking at the pictures and giggling, and then putting it away when guys or Mrs. McDaniel came by. We showed Ana and Yuri, and they started cracking up, too. XD We were supposed to be critiquing other peoples' writing, but I kept zoning out and forgetting to listen to the stories, so any semblence of that idea swirled down the drain.
In USHistory, I listened to .hack music and drew a wolf. Go me. We were supposed to be proofreading each others' essays, but I didn't have mine done yet so I just sat there. I was freaking out because KK and my discussion we were having last night on LiveJournal (see my last entry) appeared on the board. O_O At least part of it... The "YAmete Ochiri Itai!" [I hope I got that right... I'm going off memory here] did. I started freaking out for a little while, but then I remembered Makayla reads my LiveJournal and she's in first period of the same class. So that solved the mystery...or so I thought.
At lunch, I discovered Makayla wasn't there, so I was officially baffled.
Only when I got to Trig was the mystery solved. Turns out it was Trevor all along, and KK had been talking to him about it the day before, hence where it came from. So, mystery solved. I was pretty shocked to see it there originally, though. XD
In Anatomy, I babbled to Erin the whole time (and actually worked on worksheets! *Gasp!*) and was being weird and random. I believe the word "roto-tiller" came up again. Erin wants me to buy Kakashi doujinshi for Roya. XD
TA Period was traumatic. They didn't play it. ;_;
I think this needs some explanation. ^^;;
Okay, in TA period every single day of the year, the radio station we listen to in there plays that IRRITATING song "Lonely No More". For a while, Rory, Angela, and I complained every time it was on, but over time it has sort of become our theme song. XD We all sing along with it and make fun of it and bring it up in random discussions. It's our friend. Rory believes the beginning sounds like a bird of some sort and spent the entire period discussing this with us. He also thinks it has subliminal messages about ordering fast food, though. XD So, today we listened and listened for it, and THEY DIDN'T PLAY IT. OMG. THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT IS ENDING. It was so sad. The day felt incomplete without the irritating noises in the song and all the "Whoa-oa"s.
We got free bagels today in TA period. :) It's a good thing I'm eating now, because I don't think I'm going to be eating much during Fanime. I'll be much too distracted. XD
At lunch, we pretty much just talked about Fanime plans and played with Zoe's soap-finger. XD
Trig was alright, albeit too hot again. -_-
In English, we watched two speeches--one was Corrina showing us how to make this complex, foreign stew (@_@), and for the other one we had to walk all the way across the school for Sarov to show us how to play tennis under the scorching sun. *Melt* Too...hot...will...die... Then the bell rang during the middle of his speech, so I had to traverse back across the whole school again. -_- Wouldn't have been a big deal, except it was about 90 degrees out.
Mom picked me up, and we went by Dad's so I could get my Fanime stuff together, and then we went by the seamstress. Apparently, she has the costume pretty much done, but she didn't have it with her so we're going to pick it up when we pick Nicole up at around 11 AM. Hope it goes well~! I'm excited.
I'm not going to go over all the Fanime plans. They're too complicated. @_@
Ryan and I watched Naruto 129. OMGCUTESASUKE flashbacks. When he would blush... *SQUEE!* It also had a really chibi Shikamaru (EEE!) which gives it automatic bonus points in my book. It's really interesting how, in the series, all the puzzles of how the characters became who they are become more and more evident as the show goes on. Yes, Sasuke is teh ebil and he's being absolutely terrible to Naruto at this point, but it shows you *why* (by way of the flashbacks) in such a convincing way that you almost can't blame the guy. The whole thing with Itachi is fascinating... He actually didn't seem that bad at first. O_O; Note I said "At first." He's not off the hook.
Also, the animation looked particularly gorgeous in this episode. The colors were so striking and beautiful... Maybe that was just me. But it did look beautiful, in my opinion.
It was also interesting to see the whole thing with Sasuke living so much in his brother's shadow, and how much his dad aggravated this. Like I said, you can almost see exactly how he became the way he is. This doesn't justify it, persay, but it gives reasons. Definitely very well done.
It's heartbreaking how pure, innocent, and sweet Sasuke used to be... You can't help but wonder what would have happened to him if Itachi had never murdered everyone. ;_;
So...I'm off to go get some sleep before the con. Mew knows I'm not going to be getting much sleep *AT* the con, so I'd better get it while I can.
I might write tomorrow morning, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Oh, and Hitchi--I burned you Naruto DVDs, I just need to find some time to write you a letter and send it and such. :) I'm hoping to read through what I've missed of your LiveJournal lately, too, but of course that can only happen after Fanime. XD
