It's hard to find time to update with NaNo going on! I will try to update regularly still, though.

Let's see...

* Have five Icelandic chicks and one serama chick, newly hatched! A sixth Icelandic actually hatched on its own but there was something clearly wrong with it--there was liquid in the bottom of its egg, its yolk did not appear fully absorbed, and it never got out of the eggshell. It died still in the eggshell maybe six hours after it hatched. Poor thing! The others are all doing great, though--four light ones and a black one! Two or maybe more of the light ones have occasional black spots and two have feathers on their feet! Pics soon, I keep procrastinating on chicken pictures so I need to chicken pic dump. They are so cuuute and fluffy and cuddly, though!

* As I said last time, Yaoi-Con was absolutely wonderful. :D Some highlights include:

- Rocky Horror Picture Show...at Yaoi-Con! Hilarity and lots of dancing and perversion ensue. I still have Time Warp stuck in my head.
- Bishounen Auction was, as usual, fantastic! HOLY SHIT THEY AUCTIONED OFF TWO OF THE SEIYUU GUESTS IN THE AUCTION, WHAT?! $11,000, not even kidding. Epic moment. Also, an awesome song medley, amazing Jareth who contact juggles was back, hula-dancing Roy, and hell, I don't even remember what else. All kinds of awesome fun.
- Masquerade was a lot of fun, too! Yaoi-Con's Masquerade is one of the few Masquerades that is fairly consistently fun and entertaining, maybe because the 18+ restriction?
- Staying up until ridiculously late Saturday night because astrokittie, toggy, and I couldn't stop talking about hilarious porn and internet drama. Ahhh I wish you guys lived here, it was so much fun talking to you two! I'm still hoarse, haha.
- My roomies and I had a room mascot in the form of a large brachiosaurus figure named Paulawompus, who resided on top of the TV.
- Snagged an Espeon canvas plush for really cheap in the dealer's room to auction off on pkmncollectors. Also got a random cute shounen-ai manga called Donut Letter (...wut?) for $.50 and some other random yaoi manga for $2. And a crapton of awesome pins. 8D
- Saw sammywhatammy very briefly!
- Sat at a table for hours with my very motley crew of cosplayer friends while I was in my Umbreon costume, and lots of crazy photos were taken and we made new friends and it was wonderful.
- Plenty more awesome experiences that I can't remember off the top of my head.

* I have my second job interview with the animal sanctuary tomorrow! Man, how suspenseful. I am hopeful, though, and I'm just so glad I'm not out of the runnings. *Crosses fingers* If I get this job, I will be so, so happy!

* I still have two art projects I need to do soon. *Flop* Maybe I'll try and get my wordcount done early tomorrow (minimum 2000 words a day for me) so I can finish those.

* I have an EMS package that will probably be here early next week, time to do sales again once it arrives. I'll give f-listers a first peek at stuff (and dibs) when it arrives. :D

I probably have other things going on, but my brain is too overloaded at the moment to remember if I do or not. Off to play Pokémon until I fall asleep.
