RIP, Satoshi Kon.

I just found out that Satoshi Kon has passed away at the age of 47. Wow...I don't even know what to say. ;____; He was literally my favorite director of all time (yes, even beating Miyazaki) and I can't even believe he's gone so soon... I was looking forward to seeing more of his brilliant movies and TV series, seeing where his career took him, and I was hoping that someday I would be able to meet him and get his autograph, shake his hand, and let him know how much I love his works. :( Man, this is really disappointing and upsetting... I'm sure his family and friends and staff are terribly upset. I'm hoping the best for them.

RIP, Satoshi Kon. You were a genius at telling stories, and I can't believe your life was taken away so suddenly. You will always live on in your movies...
