Rambling on several topics.

pacificpikachuI am a bit sleepy because I was up until 4 AM last night watching Pokémon with chat. It was fun, though! Cyndaquil evolved into Quilava (yayyy), Bayleef made an adorable appearance, and Jun also showed up~ Of course Team Rocket and their routine tactics ended up annoyingly taking up much of the episode, but oh well. Still fun!
Eugenie hatched a little duckling tonight! Another Tux baby, black with a white bib. :D It's so cuuuuute and small! I'll take pictures of it this time before it gets big. She has another two eggs set to hatch soon as well. I put her in the green pen with the duckling and her eggs because I don't want the guinea fowl to hurt the little duckling. Tux and Albert weren't happy about this, but that's their issue to deal with.
The five quail, plus an additional two adult female quail that Linda gave me, have officially moved out of my room and outside. They seem to be doing well so far. Only four seramas left in my room, but they could be in my room for a while. I don't mind, though. They're cute and not very messy, and small.
There's something weird up with Pen-Pen's neck and he still seems to be on the weak side, though he's doing just fine otherwise. I think I'm going to post about it sometime soon on BYC, I'm a bit concerned although he seems all right enough.
The medication I've been taking in the mornings seems to have really done the trick as far as helping me feel functional and awake again. It's nice to feel alert and have some energy instead of just feeling like sleeping all the time. Need to call the doctor and see what she says about the blood test.
I found a member of BYC who lives just about ten minutes away, so she's going to come visit my flock on Sunday! I'm looking forward to talking birds with her. :D I'm going to go visit her flock sometime soon as well. Yay for having people to have poultry geek discussions with!
Dad gave me his scanner because he can't use it any more (not compatible with Windows 7), so I'm looking forward to scanning some art and being able to scan things whenever I want in general! I also want to make more art to scan, especially now that I finally found my colored pencils again. I must admit, I like digital drawing and want to get good at it, but I don't know if I'll ever be as proficient at it as I am with traditional mediums. Not going to stop me from trying, but still.
I did some Chiramii doodles recently (who I think I'm going to be collecting, urgh! But it's so cute, I can't help it!). I'm too tired to post them right now so if you want to see them now they're on my DA account.
I have so many things I want to do now that I have some energy, but it's hard to get to all of them! Scanning things, drawing both digitally and traditionally, writing fanfiction, writing lengthy analytical LJ posts about various topics, posting poultry pictures, reorganizing my collection... Mew knows what else. All kinds of things.
Still need to do post office. Ughhh I can't seem to get to finishing packaging! Just need to do it, it'll probably take like forty-five minutes including the post office trip. .___. Also gotta send some payments for things tomorrow when I don't feel like faceplanting into the keyboard from sleepiness.
