pacificpikachuI'm petsitting for Bev until Sunday evening! Watching Chester the great horned owl (one of my rehab group's educational/non-releasable birds), Suzi the umbrella cockatoo, and five chickens. Aside from Suzi's periodic but prolonged screaming about the fact that I'm not in the room, and the fact that she and I had an interesting showdown earlier, everything is going very well. :) Heating up Chester's mice is much less unpleasant than one would expect!
I am very surprised/confused that the wireless internet from my house still works at her house, despite the fact that I'm a few miles away. O___o; So much for doing a bunch of art because I have no internet, hahaha. Though that's what I should be doing.
No more serama chicks yet, but there should be more within the next few days! The hatched chick is soooo cute, and Splash is taking such good care of it! It's really adorable watching her teach the chick how to eat. ♥
Urghhhh, I'm so annoyed--I only have six more classes to finish every class I need at Sierra, but the classes I need always don't work out as far as scheduling goes! FFF, I am not going to a math class at 7:15 AM in Rocklin! That is just not going to happen. I would have to get up at 5 AM. Hell, I almost go to bed at 5 AM most nights, and getting myself into a morning schedule has been surprisingly unsuccessful no matter how many times I've tried it. I'm like an owl.
Anyway. Uh. That's about all that's going on in my life.
