After I wrote in this last night, KK and I talked on the phone for well over an hour about the guilty pleasures of Naruto shounen-ai. I mean--Naruto, and anime in general. ^^;;

Apparently, this caused an odd dream, because I woke up with this in my mind:

Well, Naruto and Sasuke were fighting each other as the dream started. It was quite a bit like the fight between them in episode 107-108 (?), except around them in a circle were these squat little buildings like something out of a western movie. In the middle of the clearing where they were sparring, there was an acacia tree. Sakura was there, but I haven't the faintest what she was doing. I feel like dishes were involved, but I'm not sure about that. @_@ As Naruto was chasing Sasuke, he used Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and in order to escape Sasuke scrambled up into the acacia tree.

My POV switched to Naruto's POV, and he was watching Sasuke and trying to hit him with Rasengan, but the branches were in the way and he couldn't get to him. This was very frustrating for poor little Naruto.

At that point, Sasuke turned into a monkey (?!). It was only for a little bit, though, because then Kakashi (who had been watching and shouting out commands and tips and such to both of them) called the duel off and Iruka (who was there and then gone) handed him some measuring tape. O_o; Sakura jumped off of a roof where she had been watching (...I guess...?) and the three of them lined up so Kakashi could see how tall they were.

Naruto exclaimed something about being "almost as tall as Kakashi, 5'7"!", which is definitely not true. XD

Oh, and then it flashed back to during the Sasuke vs. Naruto match, and apparently while Kakashi was coaching the boys, parents kept coming up to Kakashi and asking if this was a class for infants. WTF? O_o; Kakashi was grumpy about this and kept gesturing towards the battle and asking them if it looked like a class for infants.

There was also some sort of scene somewhere in there involving someone swinging a chair at Naruto's replications, but it wasn't Sasuke and I don't know where that fits in. XD

And, um...that was my dream.

I woke up and was (yet again) sleepy, but I forced myself out of bed and went all crazy putting stuff as entertainment into a duffel bag. I also put on my Pikachu ears and put some red cheeks and a black nose on my face with markers.

I felt weird all day about carrying the duffel bag, which is funny because most people would be noticing the ears much more. The duffel bag had a DVD player and such in it, so I decided just to carry it with me.]

It was a weird schedule today because of testing, so I only had to go to 1, 2, 3, and 4th periods (but they were 90 minutes long).

During Creative Writing, Rae and I... I don't remember what we did. Mrs. McDaniel had us do a project about ourselves, and I basically said I was insane and...such. That took up most of the period.

In USHistory, we're watching Grapes of Wrath. It's actually not a bad movie (though I've already read/analyzed the book and seen the movie about twice), but Mr. Ostrom (of course), decided it wasn't good enough to just watch the movie and gave us 51 questions to answer about it. Not just quick little questions, either. Paragraph answers. >< Ughhhh... I got maybe four done, and I worked even while the movie was going.

However, on the side whiteboard in his classroom, someone got very creative and started drawing Mr. Ostrom as various things. XDDD;; "Mr. Ostrom as an ostrich", "Mr. Ostrom as a blob", "Mr. Ostrom as a stick", "Mr. Ostrom as a teapot", etc. There were 40+ of these, and they were quite funny. Some of them were really creative and odd.

During lunch, I basically talked to Cody, and talked to Selah a little, too. My ears kept falling off, and I was trying to put on my headphones to listen to music while I had the ears on, and it wasn't working. XD Nicole seems to have ceased coming to the Middle Room... I feel sort of abandoned. ;_; Not really, but a little.

Anatomy wasn't too bad. We watched a movie on how various animals see things, and it was pretty interesting (though Erin and Melissa both fell asleep and I almost did XD). We then took some notes, but during the notes Mr. Larsen had collected some fun optical illusions, so we checked those out. We're studying Special Senses now, and on Friday we're dissecting a sheep eyeball. :D Erin and I babbled while coloring the worksheet, like we normally do.

My TA period would have been extremely dull, but I took measures so it wasn't. I delivered some stuff, and after that there wasn't any work to do at all. Rory brought movies, and I happened to have the DVD Player with me, so we proceeded to spend 15-20 minutes trying to hook the DVD Player up to this old, old TV (we're talking from the '60s!) they had in the Student Store. To cut a long story short, it didn't work. Oh well.

After that, I politely requested going to the Art Room to hang out with my friends, and so that's what I did for the next more-than-hour before school ended. We had some of the funniest discussions ever while we were in there drawing. XD Zoe, for whatever crazy reason, decided to draw ALL the Naruto characters in green spandex. XDDD;; When I came in, she was debating as to how Gaara would react. We finally settled that he would flat-out not wear it, so Zoe got right to work on a nekkid-Gaara curled up and staring in horror at the pile of green spandex he had taken off. XD;; We were laughing so hard about this. All the conversations we had were just brilliant. Also, Kathryn and I were talking about something random, and Zoe kept muttering weird things to herself about the spandex, causing all of us to dissolve into giggles.

We were also plotting to draw pr0n!Kakashi just to freak Roya out, but I don't know if we're actually going to do that.

Anyway, I've forgotten most of the brilliant parts of the conversation, but it was priceless.

After school, I had Anime Club to run. When I got down there, though (along with the 25-or-so people who were in the club with me), it turned out Mr. Davis wasn't there. The sub wouldn't allow us to stay in the room by ourselves, so we waited and waited, and Mr. Davis never showed up. We sent runners to find another classroom we could conduct the meeting in, and eventually found a nice English teacher who said we could use her room.

Kristi and I worked for two or three minutes hooking up my DVD Player, and we watched AMVs for the rest of the meeting. The AMVs were a BIG hit--everyone was laughing and cheering and having a great time. This is why I'm dictator--I unite my people and make them happy. :D We're going to watch more next week, and everyone was so excited about the AMVs. They particularly liked Chibi Things (That Kill).

Dad picked me up, and just as I got in the car, it started to rain. It's been raining ever since.

At around 7 PM (after having artichokes and spaghetti for dinner), we went to visit Mom at the hospital. We stayed for a while talking to her, and she seems to be doing just fine. She was less groggy today than she was yesterday. :) Also, her Mom and sister came to visit her, so she now has lots of flowers and balloons in her room. We decided to leave when the nurse taking care of her came in and was reorganizing the IVs and such. She'll be back home on Friday, and she's recuperating quite well.

When I got back, I downloaded all of Naruto OST 3 (which came out today in Japan), and also Protege Moi, which is from a wonderful Full Metal Alchemist AMV I have. :) I have to go burn those on a non-data CD, so please excuse me. Good night!
