Woo, finished 25K before midnight! I'm moving nicely ahead of schedule and enjoying it quite a lot. Okay, the story is still moving kind of slowly she's on her way to the airport, at least?, but I am finding interesting things to ramble about at least? I'm really tired at the moment so I'm just impressed I was able to meet the daily quota at all, haha.
Botany test went...decent by Botany standards. I got a B- on the lab exam and probably a B+ or something on the lecture exam. I did a lot of studying, so I'm glad it at least sort of paid off. Botany, at least the real Botany for science majors, is a lot more complex and difficult than one would think. I'm normally an A+ student in any Biology class by default because I understand biology quite well, but for some reason Botany and I just don't click. Apparently, plants are not my thing. ^^;
Won my grail the other morning! It is, incidentally, a completely adorable 17" tall Eevee plush. ^0^ I'm paying a lot for it, but a grail is a grail and I'm just happy I won it. :D Who knows when another one will pop up.I will be so sad if saying this causes one to pop up for half the price or something, sob.
Totally looking forward to my Diversity of Waterfowl and Marsh Birds field trip on Saturday. I was kind of dreading it because I have to get up at 6 AM (which is when I get up on school days anyway, but it's an evil and terrible time to wake up on a Saturday), but I went to the pre-field trip lecture thing tonight and I loved it. I'm normally very quiet--even silent--in my classes, but I had trouble suppressing the urge to talk about almost every single bird we discussed. I did, in hindsight, talk about...a lot of them. :'D I felt like that annoying know-it-all person in every class who insists on answering every question the instructor poses and providing unnecessary information and stories on everything... Haha. But I was like that in Zoology to a degree as well. At least I'm passionate about my major?
I'm a bird otaku, hahaha. And a definitely a general animal otaku, but especially a bird otaku. 8D
NaNo write-in tomorrow evening! I'm not sure how I'm getting there yet, but I'm sure I'll figure something out. It's more difficult because Daniell is planning on going, too, and she needs a ride, but asking my dad to give rides is always awkward because he drives all over the place for his work and doesn't like driving outside of that, and he's already driving me to the waterbird field trip early Saturday morning. :/ Still, it'll be fine.
I NEED TO:
- SEND KIRISKA'S GIFT CARD !
- CALL DANIELL IN AFTERNOON!
-
- PACKAGE EVERYTHING, SEND OFF ON MONDAY
- PACK FOR WATERFOWL FIELD TRIP
- UH, WATCH ANIME...?
Plus take care of pets and all that, but pets are a constant in my life so that goes without saying.
