Aug. 24th, 2008 02:29 pmI had a dream this morning that I was walking at a ranch or something and there was a rattlesnake in my path but I couldn't avoid it for some reason. When I walked over it, it jumped up and bit at my general crotch/butt area. Thankfully it didn't get my actual skin other than a few little scratches/very shallow puncture wounds on my butt that weren't serious because the snake got its fangs caught in the loose portion of my shorts. Then I had trouble getting it out because its fangs were stuck in my shorts. XD WTF, mind?
Anyway, the guinea pigs are doing all right even though they still seem quite bloated. I have them on liquid Simethicone to help with that.
Still not looking forward to school, which starts tomorrow (and I still don't know my schedule though I'm going to try and figure it out tonight and go early on Monday to sort out the library book thing). @__@
THE RATS OUT BY THE CHICKEN COOP. THERE ARE SO MANY OF THEM. It's kind of terrifying how many there are. D: We're trying to figure out what to do. I don't want to kill them if I can help it because it's against my morals, but it may have to come down to that. ;__; I think we should maybe get a good mouser cat to help take care of them and resort to more serious measures if it comes down to it.
Man, even as a Ranka fan she was being really annoying in the scene after seeing Sheryl and Alto together. What Sheryl did to stop it was utterly justified/the right thing to do. In fact, I gained a lot more respect for Sheryl in general during this episode, so now I feel more like the two girls are nearly even in my preferences for them as characters. (I still slightly prefer Ranka, though, and I'm rooting for her still in the love triangle. ^^; What? It's more fun to have a side!)
The rest of the episode...ummm, dramatic? But ridiculous as always. There were a lot of eye-rolling moments in this episode (even more than usual, I'd say?), though the emotional power of that rendition of Diamond Crevasse made up for a lot of them. That was beautiful and almost made me teary.
I think Michael's death was sad, but overall it wasn't very well-handled. :/ The timing was just way too convenient and it felt really forced to me. But a lot of the show feels pretty forced, so whatever. XD I do feel bad for Klan, though--she's not going to take this well. And it's definitely going to be weird to get used to Michael not being around.
Hmmm, I think that's about it.
