OKAY OKAY quick update time before putting the chickens away and going to bed.

I had several plans today:

1. Find Dennou Coil fanworks! STATUS: SEMI-FAILED

There aren't enough Dennou Coil fanworks out there. Even Deviantart had under ten pieces of Dennou Coil fanart. Woe. ;_; I went through denno_coil, which had some icons, but not enough stuff! Thankfully, wao posted a link to an oekaki, which had some fanart to save. :D There's still not enough out there on the whole of the internet, though. This is why I will continue trying to convert fans, and maybe try to inspire current fans to be more creative and productive?

2. Decide to make my own Dennou Coil fanart! STATUS: FAILED/WILL COMPLETE LATER

I went through some episodes and took screencaps of characters for references, but then as I was brainstorming what kind of picture I wanted to draw, I started with Haraken and kept adding characters. Next thing I knew, I had decided I wanted to draw about four or five characters and I want the picture relatively big. No big paper in the house. Failure. I'll do that once I can make a trip to an art store to get some bigger paper, though.

3. Decide to go on a scanning spree/art dump STATUS: PARTLY COMPLETE

I went and scanned a whole bunch of art--old and new, sketch and colored, and just random--but didn't get to finish because mom picked me up during my scanning. Thus, the art I scanned is trapped in dad's computer at the moment, and I can't post it. Expect it next time I go to dad's, though, assuming I'm not too busy.

And that's all for now. I'm going to be up early tomorrow, so I'd better get to bed.
