pacificpikachuThere's basically nothing to say about today. It essentially consisted of me sitting around and doing animal chores.
I twisted my ankle while I was walking both dogs right outside the house. I'm starting to think the area by Ryan's basketball hoop is cursed or something--I'm constantly falling down there for no apparent reason. The ankle seems reasonably all right, though--just a little stiff. It hurt when I did it, but now it's just uncomfortable as opposed to painful.
I just discovered that people keep fennec foxes as pets! Waaaaaant. They're just about the cutest things ever, and they remind me so much of little Eevees. They're supposedly not too difficult to care for, also--comparable to a kitten or a chinchilla (chinchillas are another critter I want someday). They're about $1000 to purchase, though, so I'll just add that to my list of "Animals I must keep as pets before I die". It's a rather long list and filled with all kinds of odd animals.
Aw, I think one of my BB Red chicks is going to die. ;_; It could still make it, but it's small and runty and constantly stopping to sleep, which is, in my experience, a sign that a chick isn't very hardy and probably won't make it to adulthood. I'm hoping, though. It does peep loudly when I take it out and hold it, and it's not like it's in terrible condition. It's concerning that it closes its eyes so much, though, and often succumbs to sleep.
