pacificpikachuI have to go do some concept art for my costume, so I'll make this short.
The poor Flicker passed away this morning. He was alive all night (I could tell because he was shuffling around from time-to-time), but he went quiet around 7AM. When I checked on him at 8AM, he was already cold and stiff. Such a beautiful bird, but at least he didn't suffer for too long. I hope he rests in peace. It's much harder on both the bird and the rehabber when the bird seems like it's getting better for a week or two and then dies on you, so at least nothing like that occurred.
Today I mostly just did pet-related chores and cleaned the house. I was going to go to Fabric Boutique today, but Mom got home from riding Rivi too late and thus it was already closed. We did go by the Farm Store, though, where Hana was equally split between being spellbound by and terrified of a piglet.
Hana also got to go in the chicken coop for the first time in her life. She enjoyed it immensely and was very nice to the chickens (she poked them with her nose occasionally in a friendly way and wagged her tail continuously). The chickens were raised around dogs, so they couldn't care less whether or not there is a canine wandering amongst them.
Well, that's about it. I'd better go work on my cosplay stuff now.
