It's kind of late and I was just watching Anime Expo videos on YouTube and now I'm listening to AIR music, and I'm feeling uber-nostalgic. Actually, it's like a weird mix between extremely excited for Fanime (which is in several months) and weirdly nostalgic over images my mind is conjuring up that are reminiscent of but not related to AIR. O_o; WTF, mind. I don't understand.
Mmmph. Expansive blue skies, puffy clouds, green grass--so beautiful and cool despite it being summer...that whole idealized, nostalgic feeling some anime are so great at. Calm, but strangely sad. That's what's running through my head right now. Hmmm. I think this is a sign it's too late. XD;; It's enjoyable, though.
I don't actually like summer in real life. It's too hot and everything gets all dried up and brown. ._.;
Okay. Random notes about yesterday. Just because I forgot to put them in, and although they have nothing to do with anything, I like to write down observations at random.
Bus-people are weird. I think I'm a magnet for odd bus-people. I have no problem with odd people, nor bus people, nor do I particularly mind if people strike up conversations with me. But it's always kind of...awkward when they're just babbling. About NOTHING. Like this guy yesterday on the bus started talking to me, and all I could do was smile and nod because I had literally nothing to say about his topics of conversation (trains, planes, soul music from the 80s, how he doesn't get along with his mom, cassette tapes vs. record players, surround sound vs. stereo, and trains again, respectively). He seemed like a nice guy and at least he was passionate about the things he was talking about, but still... Uh, awkward. I hate awkward conversations.
Also, while I was at the feed store in Auburn yesterday almost buying those chickies, there was a black phoebe on the fence in front of the story. He would occasionally zip up from the fence with a loud chirp and then go back to his place on the fence. I wish I had had the camcorder with me, because it was adorable. Here's what he looked like: http://www.tsuru-bird.net/flycatchers2/phoebe_black1.jpg
Okay, I'd really better go to bed. I'm so tired my eyelid is starting to twitch, and at this point this post is going absolutely nowhere.
Oh, but before I go--my Metaquotes thread is at over 100 comments! Eek, it's cool! ♥ Haha, I was telling myself before TRF posted it to be happy if it got three or four comments, much less one hundred.
