Today's been exciting!

First off, Inca has now hatched five chicks! And they're the cutest little fluffs. They're most lovely colors! ;3; She has two more eggs as well, we'll see if those hatch, too.

Also, I went with Mom to the ReStore, which is basically like a huge thrift store in our community with tons of big things like appliances, building materials, and all kinds of things. The goal of the ReStore's profits is to provide affordable housing for people in our area, too, so it goes to a good cause. It's like a paradise for me, because I love used things in general and this is exactly the kinds of things I can use for my fowl-related projects.

Anyway, I found this AMAZING reptile enclosure and managed to haggle them down to $30 for it. I can't even believe it! It's huge and well-made and sturdy and just awesome. It was the best find.

It's already housing Inca and her chicks, and as a result they're safe, indoors, have tons of room, and it's just perfect. It even has built-in heat lighting that I could use if I needed to for mom-less chicks (which I don't usually have any more, but I digress).

I just found my massive stash of animal photos I took in...May, I think? So I'll post a lot more pictures soon! I have some nice photos in there.

Lots to do currently, there are a bunch of projects going on here. Mom's been stressed out all day because she's leaving on vacation, but also one horse we were boarding here is leaving and another is coming, and someone's working on the siding of the house and it's turned into this big time-consuming thing. We're also trying to fix up the house, but everything's a mess.

Anyway, it'll work out. Just have to tear myself away from Conquest sometimes to work on other things. I'm playing my first side-story and actually really enjoying it! It's harder than the previous part of the game because of all the invasions and stuff, aaaahh! But I'm getting a lot of evolution going on and recruiting some of my warriors from before.
