Finished the free version of Hatoful Boyfriend! All of the birds' routes, plus the BBL preview route and bad ends. I think it's wonderful that, even with such a ridiculous basis, it manages to tell intriguing, funny, and moving stories. The writing is surprisingly good, and honestly I loved all of the characters ultimately! I can't even choose a favorite. I'm genuinely intrigued by the plots, and I'm excited for the English full version! I will totally buy it.

I'm seriously considering the Oko San cosplay. I think that it would be a lot of fun, a good challenge, and just plain awesome.

Hatoful Boyfriend gets my feathery seal of approval, I was expecting to have fun with it from the moment I heard about it, but it was a lot better than I expected! I'm amazed by the diversity of emotion and there's more to it than I would have predicted.

Pigeon dating sim = awesome, will play again, and want everyone else to play it, too! Crossing my wings for an anime someday, and in the meantime I'm excited to get whatever sequels, information, and additional things that come out.

I love that the creator has a Tumblr blog and posts in English on it, too!

The animal care manager at work and I have both had dreams that, bizarrely, involved both chickens and gang wars. Her dream had me in it, too!

What a weird combination for one person to dream about, not to mention two people! She had never heard my chicken and gang-related dream either, so it's not like her subconscious just took the idea and ran with it.
