Pigeon love~

Today's been sort of a weird day, just that my energy level and mood haven't been the greatest (probably because of aforementioned waking up during REM sleep). I think I might be coming down with a slight bug, I just don't feel quite right.

But playing Hatoful Boyfriend cheered me up quite a bit! I still have two characters to go, but so far:

- Ryouta -- Adorable. Ending was bittersweet.

- Nageki -- Did I seriously tear up over a pigeon dating sim? I already knew the story but I still teared up a tiny bit, surprisingly enough. ;A;

- Oko San -- Magnificent insane bird! LMFAO he's fantastic! I seriously might make a mascot costume of him, complete with a uniform, as I'm pretty sure this would be the most hilarious costume ever. Also, fun, and because he's sort of generic-looking if I didn't wear the uniform with it I could use it for bird events, too... LOL.

- Shuu -- Welp, that was even more screwed-up than I was expecting! I'm still amused that they chose a chukar to be the yandere bird, because my chukar Zebra was definitely on the yandere side.

- Nanaki -- Cute and slightly sad.

Now just Yuuya and Sakuya to go. I'd finish them tonight but bed beckons, so I'll finish the game tomorrow. I'm excited for the extra stuff in the paid version, drama CD, and the sequel/alternate retelling! I love that Hatoful Boyfriend doesn't exist just for the shock value and laughs, it actually has interesting characters and storylines. I love how different the tone is between the different storylines. Sad, creepy/violent, cute, hilariously weird, and so on. Ultimately, though, I just can't help being amused by the idea of a pigeon dating sim no matter what.

If there is ever an anime made of Hatoful Boyfriend, I will be SO happy. Strangely, I feel like it's a definite possibility, but I don't know why I'm getting that vibe or if I'm just being overly optimistic.
