Eggs set~

Note to self: Set four serama eggs today at about midnight. Candle for first time on 1/29. Start lockdown for hatching on 2/8 or 2/9 depending on candling results. I'll be happy if I just get one or two chicks out of this hatch--it's mostly because I can't bring myself to turn the incubator off and Charming keeps laying eggs, so...why the hell not? If the power goes out and kills the eggs or something, whatever, no big loss, seeing as I probably would have just eaten the eggs if I hadn't set them. (Unless it does that right at the end like yesterday, in which case I will be very sad. ;___;) I can see why hatching is so addictive--candling is really cool, my incubator mostly just regulates itself so it's not much effort, and there's lots of fun and anticipation involved.

Still not officially in the Japanese class, but all I need is for ONE PERSON to drop over the weekend, so I'm optimistic. If I get in, this class is going to be a breeze (and a fun one) for me!

Feeling kind of blah, just because very very slightly sick (just barely) + cramps + tired. I don't feel bad exactly, but I'm definitely drained and not terribly perky. I wish I could figure out where my DS charger is! It's probably at dad's. I could use some long bouts of Mystery Dungeon right about now. =___=

Firefox is being slow right now for some reason, so please forgive me if I don't reply to much. I was going to post about this one funny thread this chicken-ignorant lady posted on BackYardChickens, but I'll have to do that another time because I'm too sleepy!

Boring entry! Oh well, I'm mostly making it to remind myself about the eggs and what days I need to do what.
