Doodling~ And WTF computers.
Jan. 6th, 2009 11:25 pmOkay, so the directions to install Japanese typing support say this:
"Select “Switch to Classic View” on the left-hand side of the window, if it’s there. Then, select “Regional and Language Options”. Choose the “Language” tab at the top of the window, and then make sure that “Install Files for East Asian languages” is checked. Then, click the “Details” button. Click the “Add” button, and select Japanese from the list of languages. Then click OK. This should install the necessary files for using Japanese on Windows XP."
I get that, completely, and yet I click the Add button, the list has every language imaginable except Japanese. WTF? Anyone have any ideas on what to do? Google has no answers. D: In the meantime I'm using a program, but the free trial expires in a week or so. :/
Anyway, I've been doodling wolves today. I haven't been drawing as much I as want to and when I have been drawing it's been nothing but Pokémon, so I decided to draw Toboe to get back in the swing of things. :3 I did a lot of other wolf doodles, but on them I was just sketching them out extremely quickly and then erasing them so nothing else remains of my doodling.
( 800x600 colored Toboe doodle. )
I didn't know what to do with the background and didn't want to spend a million hours on something nice, so...boring gradient it was! XD I added the "To Rakuen!" so it didn't look so naked.
I'm still getting the hang of digital paintingand need way more practice so it's not stunning or anything (also this wasn't a big project by any stretch of the imagination), but... Toboe! ♥ This is intentionally more anime-styled than most of my realistic wolves for the sake of cuteness.
I need to stop being lazy and reply to comments. Tonight or tomorrow early afternoon, promise!
