Aug. 4th, 2008 11:13 amI got home from vacation yesterday! It was a nice relaxing week and was a good amount of fun. I took tons of pictures. 8D I'll probably upload most of them to Facebook and maybe a few here if any came out particularly impressive.
Diamond and Pearl (the two guinea fowl) grew so much while I was gone! Now they're starting to get in their adult-colored feathers and their body shape looks like a guinea fowl body, haha.
One of the three jays died while I was gone (as I expected--he was looking pretty bad when I dropped him off), and I'm arranging a check-up for the other two today to see if treatment should be continued or if euthanasia is the best option. Mona still has them, which is good because I don't want to expose my domestic birds to trich. Apparently one of the stellar's jays has a large growth in his mouth, and I'm not sure if that will suitably heal for him to be releasable. :/
Dad and I might go down to Sacramento today to look at a Subaru for me. We'll see how that goes!
I didn't get as many packages as I thought I would while I was gone. :( Hopefully they'll start coming in soon~ I want to take collection pictures when all the packages are here!
