I got in a cute little fledgling house finch yesterday, and he wasn't starved or dehydrated, he looked bright and alert, and he randomly died overnight. I wish I knew why.
Someone got in a whole bunch of baby birds yesterday, so I called to see if she wanted me to take some. She hasn't called back yet, but it would be nice to have a group of happy little birds. Out of the fourteen birds I've had so far, seven have died, three have been transferred to other rehabbers, and four went to the flight cage.
In other news, between Fanime and getting stuff from Ebay in the mail, I have around one hundred and thirty Pokémon plush in my room. Just Pokémon plush, not figures or anything, and this is not including my myriad of other anime plush. :O Granted, I'm selling eighteen or twenty of them, but still. I am such a Pokétard. It's amazing. I'm waiting for one more plush to come and I'll do a terrifying general room/Pokécollection post.
I might be going down to Japantown on Sunday with Aubrey, Ellary, and one of their friends. :D
