Still need to catch up on comments. I keep getting distracted!

So, that Zoology final? The one I was referring to as Final From Hell? It took me thirteen hours. All-in-all, it was seventeen pages in twelve font, single-spaced. One hundred and twenty-seven paragraphs of dense, technical material. I worked on it for three hours on Tuesday night, then went to class at 6 AM the next morning, studied for the Calculus final and took it (and did awful, I'm sure) got home by 5 PM, worked on the Zoology final continuously from 5 PM until 1 AM, went to sleep, got up at 6 AM and went to school, worked on it for another four hours there, studied for my lab exam for two hours, took lab exam and then...freedom! I'm still a bit tired, needless to say. So much chaos.

Thankfully, though, there is no more of this chaos now! I'm going to kick back this summer, go to my anime conventions, watch anime with friends, raise as many wild birds as I can handle while still regaining some semblance of sanity, read lots of books and good manga, and draw and write. Well, we'll see about the writing, because I hardly ever get to that except in November (NaNoWrimo = ♥).

I spent today sitting around with intentions of finishing Kaiji, but then somehow I ended up cleaning animal cages and watching Discovery channel for most of the day instead. I would like to finish Kaiji soon, though, and when I go back to dad's I still really need to watch Princess Tutu. I just want to watch it on the pretty TV.

Today has been a good day for making friends! In addition to talking to Daniell for quite a while on YIM, I met and talked to [livejournal.com profile] friskavk for a long time about Pokémon, the pillows, Toshihiro Kawamoto, anime conventions, and a number of other things. [livejournal.com profile] kasaiface and I also discovered we have eerily similar interests AND we'll both be at Fanime. So, hooray! Good day.

I also spent too much on Pokémon plush today. I need to actually save my money for Fanime, not spend it on REALLY CUTE RAICHU PLUSH. Too late, however, and I can't say I regret it one bit. It is a REALLY CUTE RAICHU PLUSH. Also managed to snag an Eevee Pokédoll for a mere $10 because the seller listed it as "Evee". Score! Now I just need Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon. I'm sure I'll get them eventually. :>

Speaking of Fanime...it's in twelve days. H-how did that happen? It's terrifying how fast time is moving lately. I need to work on cosplay as wildly and frantically as I can these next few weeks, or there's no way I'll finish. I haven't even started Boota other than ordering the fur, and the Densuke head (which is merely a random structure made of Wonderflex at the moment)...needs a lot of work.

Still need to figure out where I'm getting the big sunglass lenses for Boota, so I inquired about it on Cosplay.com. Hmmm. Maybe I'll just buy one of those huge pairs of joke sunglasses and go from there.

Uh-oh. There is Nutella in the house again. >D

I may or may not be snacking on it right now. (Hint: It's the first option.)

In other news, Ryan and I made our own butter. It's tasty! And really really easy to make.

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] onoes_mischief approximately a million years ago. This is one of the most brilliant memes of all time, I think, and I encourage all of you to try it for laughs. :D

Instructions: Go to Fanfiction.net and go to "search." Choose the "Harry Potter" category, and "search by keyword" and then put in your (first) name, and see what kind of Mary Sues have your name!

This story is centered around Remus/Kristin (OC), but it's got some L/J in it too. This one might actually have a plot! YAY! What happens when you try to save someone's life and something goes wrong? You can fall in love...::Full Summary In My Profile::

OH, GOOD! A PLOT! WOW! HOW IMPRESSIVE!

Its been a few years sense Oliver Wood has left Hogwarts.... and life is treating him good.... but its about to get more complicated when he meets Kristin. A muggle from the USA. AN just bear with me and a new chapie will be along sometime

They got the muggle from the USA part right. The rest of it...uhhhh. (Isn't Oliver Wood dead, anyway? If I'm not confusing him with some other character.)

in the world of harry potter, everything is going to change. 2 new girls, Alina and Kristin, arive from America becasue they were transferred! RonOC DracoOC Its really funny! AND RANDOM!

RANDOM = AUTOMATICALLY THE EPITOME OF HUMOR

This has to be a thirteen-year-old girl. It just HAS to.

Kristin and Oliver try to set their friend Alex up by signing her up fpr a date auction. Ok, we suck at summaries, BUT PLEASE READ AND REVIEW!! *New chapter up!*

HAHAHA, the title of this one is "Auction Off My Heart." Beautiful. :'D

The adventures of Taylor Rhent and Kristin Chael in Hogwarts Land. Eventual pairings. Not really interesting, but I had to do it...rated T for safety.

I like the admission of the fact that it's "not really interesting." Somehow, I think this is most likely true. Also, the title is "I Heart Hogwarts."

Also, these next ones were "Kristine" instead of Kristin, but I had to include them anyway:

Kristine Blackwell is a normal witch attending the Salem Witches' Institute. Or at least she thought she was. Events lead her to Hogwarts, where she finds friends, allies, and safety. But soon, Kristine stuck in war and betrayal-Full summary inside.

True literature.

Kristine, a muggle in her mid 20s, has spend the last few Christmas seasons alone. However, this all changes when a child comes knocking on her door to sing her a song, for goodness sake.

Sounds like an absolutely awful attempt at a tearjerker.

Awww, mine weren't that great. :/ But, hey, I encourage you to try it! You may just find a beautiful, classic piece of badfic that will warm your hearts and move you to uproarious laughter.
