Yesterday, I forgot to mention that we went to Auburn. I'm not sure why I feel like mentioning this, as it has nothing to with anything, but I felt I needed to talk about it for the sake of completeness. XD;; In other words, I'm obsessive. We basically just went to Pak N Save foods (I had a terrible sandwich that had about ten times too much mayonnaise) and Ross, where I got more CD cases, as mine are all full. All eight or so of them.
Today, I woke up at 10:30 AM, fed the chickens, ducks, and pheasants, and then went and cleaned the guinea pig cage and put the guinea pigs and cockatiels outside. I also found a towhee with a hurt wing. He seems to be able to fly somewhat (though not farther or higher than about six feet), so I'm not sure he entirely needs my help, but I'm going to try my best to hunt him down and rehab him anyway. I spent quite a while today pursuing him, but he's a wily little guy, so despite my efforts I came out empty-handed. Oh well. I put some sunflower seeds out for him, so hopefully that'll help him out.
I also spent a while writing up a contract for the now nonexistent Anime Club I want to create. The contract thingy is two-pages single-spaced and extremely pretentious-sounding. Intentionally. XD;; I was brainstorming about the club for much of the day. I came up with some cool ideas, too. I've decided that calling it "Anime Club" is not sufficient, and also that really long titles that can be abbreviated are more fun. So, it is thus named Society for Watching, Analyzing, and Discussing Anime (SWADA). XD;; So, I plan to discuss this with my friends tomorrow at lunch, in addition to the usual Fanime/cosplay/general anime talk. It'll be wonderful.
I went to the wildlife rehab party at Cindy's at about 2 PM and had an absolutely wonderful time. :D I got to see a big brown bat really close (we just obtained a bat rehabber, who was very knowledgable and passionate about bats), and she was adorable! Such beautiful fur. I talked to lots and lots of people about birds and bird stories, got lots of encouragement about what I do, and obtained a certificate of appreciation for my rehabbing. Apparently, somebody recently donated a truck to our association so we can sell it and keep the profit for wildlife rehabbing. :O After eating for a while, and hanging out with some of younger future rehabbers (one girl is about eight, and the other just turned twelve), Cindy and I got in a wonderful discussion about chickens, their complicated pecking orders, their intelligence, and their beauty. It's always so nice to discover people who love chickens, too, because so many people don't understand the allure. Of course, most normal people don't spend any time with chickens (dead ones aside :(), so it's unsurprising. XD;;
Now I'm home, and I've basically just been hanging around on the computer, doing homework, etc. since I got home. I'M REGISTERED FOR FANIME YAY. ♥ Yeah, I preregistered myself, Mom, and Ryan today, so that's exciting. My "fan name" for my badge is Teto the Fox-Squirrel, which means I'm absolutely doing the Teto costume this year. I really need to get on that...
Gahhh, I really, really need to work on my CFUD app! It's due this Friday, and thusfar I have...nothing. I need to find time and motivation to get working on that...
*Sniff* My Mushishi OST torrent isn't working, and it's at 91.9%, so it's kind of aggravating. I think it's because BoxTorrents is down. Hopefully it'll be back up tomorrow.
Downloading more Honey & Clover music now. ♥ It is LOVE.
