Happy birthday, Temari!

Hooray, Temari. :D I love Temari!

Today was another one of those days that really weren't eventful enough to write much about.

I tried to go to bed early last night, but failed on account of Msscribe report sucking my brain out, and then just as I was falling asleep, I got this awesome, bizarro idea for a story. :O It'll be entitled Family of Blackbirds if I ever write it. I would do a summary (and might later), but all the details are really sketchy at this point. I know it'll be...uh...really non-conformist shounen-ai (with homeless boys as characters), involve one of the boys having a dead family who he believes have been reincarnated as blackbirds, and other stuff. Like I said, it's a little weird. I can't really summarize it at this point because it's so sketchy.

I was supposed to go to to my college orientation today, but that failed because Mom insisted on going to get her car fixed (there was a really minor tire problem :/) before we were supposed to go, and by the time they finished I would have been at least twenty minutes late for said orientation. I guess I'll just go on Saturday.

We also picked up the painting of Tia we won. :D It's so cute! ♥ Seriously, it's so stylish to have a painting of your own dog in your house. XD;; And we didn't even have to pay a cent to have it made, either. We "won" it. I'm going to bet the drawing was rigged (hahaha, when we went by the AnimalSave booth at the fair and told them we were Tia's foster family and permanent family, they were joking they'd rig it for us), but that makes it all the more awesome. Also, because the AnimalSave thrift store is moving they were having a sale where everything you could fit in a bag would be $4 altogether, so I got some collars for the cats and bowls for ducks/birds, and Mom got a bunch of random stuff, too.

I got a yummy coconut cream hawaiian ice, too. :D

Other than that, I played with the ducks, put the guinea pigs out, brought Yami in the house for no reason, watched part of a Law and Order: SVU episode (Mom made me turn it off because she doesn't like murder shows T_T), and...that's it.

BUT I get to go on an all-day, seriously hardcore whitewater rafting trip with Mom tomorrow! I'm uber-excited. Mom just booked it yesterday, but we're leaving early in the morning tomorrow and getting back in the evening.
