Woke up. I was a little sleepy, and it was raining. While packing my lunch, I became very angry at Jake for eating the last pizza bagel, as I wanted it in my lunch. ._.; As we drove closer to the high school (and therefore up in elevation), it began to snow in big flakes. Unexpected, but didn't last too long. It was pretty while it lasted, though. The snow was melted by the time third period started.

I watched AMV Hell 3 (yet again--why do I watch that thing so much?) in first period, along with a couple of scenes of Gankutsuou (I had to watch that one scene with Franz and Maximilien talking just to confirm that I'm not crazy and Franz/Albert on Franz's side really is canon). Showed the most amusing parts of AMV Hell 3 to Jessie and some of the Freshmen. Was called "The Ultimate Geek" by Rachel. I couldn't help but be amused by that. XD;

I messed around on the computer during Government, as I finished my assignment yesterday. I mostly answered e-mails I had gotten and browsed the Anime News Network forum nervously (Mr. LaMarca was lurking about in my area). That's...pretty much all I did. I'm so terribly sad that LiveJournal is now blocked on all the school computers. I mean, I can see why, but that doesn't make it any more justified in my mind. *Sniff* What am I supposed to do with myself when I'm supposed to be researching otherwise?

Third period...buh, the usual. Zoned out and was thinking a lot while running around pretending to play basketball. Thoughts seem prone to attack me like beestings--they hurt at first, but dull as I think about them. I can't tell if this is because I'm shielding myself from the reality (as in, being able to accept the ideas in word form, but not in actual principle) or accepting it, though. I think it might be a little of both.

During Lunch, Zoe, Shannon, GW, and I got into a pretty funny discussion about what we were like as younger kids. Hahaha, Zoe and I told a lot of frog/other random animal-related stories, and stories about how tomboyish, nature girls we were (are?) and laughed a bunch. It was fun. ^^ We were hungry, so Shannon shared her cookies generously with us. ^_^

Fifth period was even funnier. Makayla and I fangirled really loudly and emphatically all period over Franz/Albert and Gankutsuou in general. Zoe seemed rather confused and tried to discourage us from spoilers, but it didn't work. Zoe and I decided that three things are true: a) the Count is a robot, b) the Count is Albert, and c) the Count is a cow. Yeah, Zoe was going on about cows all period, while Makayla and I fangirled and squealed and screeched and theorized excessively. It's like...the new Wolf's Rain-style obsession with us, but milder (as Wolf's Rain cannot be replaced. Period. We have years of history with that show). There was much giggling and angsting on Makayla's part (she's seen the episode regarding Franz, and is emotionally scarred as a result). Anyway, it was so much fun. I didn't want the period to end.

Nothing much happened in English. We talked about Great Expectations, and I had to hold my tongue because I'm about seven chapters ahead of the class. Like I said, I love the book, though.

Selah and I talked about anime convention stories during Anatomy almost the whole time, and laughed and commiserated and had a wonderful time. I'm beginning to think it might very well be impossible to have a conversation about anime conventions that isn't enjoyable. It just...doesn't seem possible.

This continued into Anime Club, where I basically spent the whole time giving a crash-course on "How to Survive an Anime Convention". Despite the fact that I gave them permission to go draw on the board while I was talking, this went surprisingly well, and I think I got everyone fired up. Told a lot of funny convention stories, taught 'em how to go about getting to a convention, and it...went pretty darn well, surprisingly. It was fun, too. I'm surprised my voice isn't dead, though--I got pretty into it and was yelling in excitement pretty frequently. Also, at one point the band was playing outside the window, so talking over them and the rather excitable Anime Club members was difficult.

Zoe couldn't find her ride, so she came with me to Dad's house for a little while, where we...looked at silly pictures I have saved, pretty much. She found a ride relatively quickly, though, so our potential schemes of having her spend the night didn't go over so well. Oh well.

I've spent the rest of today on homework. And [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes, but that's beside the point.

Darn it--I was totally going to start Kino's Journey tonight, but as usual I didn't end up with enough time. ;_; Well, that's not good--I was really looking forward to starting it. I suppose that can be on my agenda for tomorrow...

Dad's talking about going anime shopping soon, so that makes me happy.
