So, about that snow day...
Mar. 2nd, 2006 09:06 amThere was a big controversy (at least in my classes) yesterday over whether today would be a snow day or not. About half the people were celebrating that yesterday was like a Friday and that it would be a snow day, and the other half were bitterly saying it was just a rumor and there was no way it would snow.
For the majority of the day, I sided with the optimistic people and hoped that there would be no school today. However, just before I went to bed last night at 10:30 PM, I looked at the temperature and it was 43 degrees (Fahrenheit, of course). Then I started to get discouraged. It just didn't seem that there was any way it would drop below freezing.
Then I woke up this morning to about four inches of snow.
YAY FOR SNOW DAYS!
The first thing I did was sleep in. Though this wasn't the best sleep-in ever because Ryan and Dad were loudly arguing in the nearest room, at least I got to do it. I think I'll call some friends fairly soon.
