I ♥ March. Maybe it's because it's my birth month, but I'm just terribly fond of it as a month.

Um...yesterday very little happened that I wanted to write about anyway. Well, other than the awesome hail, that is. During 5th period yesterday, most of my art class went outside because of the wild hail that started. It was really awesome looking out over the expanses of white streaks. Oddly, it felt epic in a sense--especially because the hail was about marble-sized and was really loud against the roofs of the school. There was really close thunder and lightning, too, which made everything so much more atmospheric.

Mom was late picking me up yesterday, too, and it was freezing (yes, even by my standards), and she was mad at me most of the day for one reason or another. She's been irritable lately--possibly because of lack of sleep, but it's still hard for me (Ms. Emotional/Non-confrontational/Stresses out easily Pisces) when she gets mad at me. I was so exhausted last night I didn't accomplish anything because I was so tired I fell asleep at 8:30 PM. ._.;;

Today was a pretty good day. I had more energy than usual, possibly because of the extra sleep. I woke up, grabbed everything for Anime Club, got a box of Trix (which I found in the pantry last night) for KK, scraped ice off of Mom's windows, and waited for Mom and Ryan to get their act together and bring me to school. Which, remarkably, we actually left at a reasonable time for once. :O

KK wasn't at school today, so I gave the Trix to Nicole and we joked about the Trix rabbit being a pedophile for a while. Don't even ask. XD;

First period, I watched AMVs all period. It was quite glorious. Managed to pique the interest of several random Freshmen guys in the class (plus Jessie, who was sitting next to me). Their comments were rather random and amusing, because they had literally no idea what was going on at all. They thought Cheza was a guy...somehow. O_o; Ben thought the wolf-fight scenes from Wolf's Rain were hardcore. XD;;

Second period was boring. We're in groups now in the class, so we all work together on projects. Luckily, I like my group. Or, at least, I like half of my group. Sarah and Vince are pretty cool and they actually help me work and such, but Alyssa and Jason just sit there and do nothing and say nothing. We did a worksheet on freedom of religion, and I started wondering if what my teacher in 8th grade did to us was even constitutional... Probably not.

It was Course Preview Day today, which meant we had shorter periods and an assembly after second period. Underclassmen go to previews of various classes during this time, but we all had to pack into the Ali Gym, sit on the bleachers, and listen to random people telling us stuff about college we already know. ._.; I located Zoe, Makayla, Shannon, and Ciera to hang out with, but couldn't find Cody. Zoe and I got bored pretty quickly, so we started drawing humorous pictures all over the pamplets they gave us. They cannot be described, but they were hilarious. After a while, Shannon joined in, too, so the three of us effectively covered our pamphlets in silliness.

I dropped the pen KK gave me under the bleachers, though, so I became terribly distraught. ;_;

However, the next period just so happened to be PE, so I watched as a group of Freshmen pushed the bleachers back towards the wall. At first, I couldn't find my pen, but I located it on a pile of garbage. I was happy to have it back. ^^; Mr. Humphers told us we'd have to run at least one lap on the track today, but thankfully it was a lie and I faked playing basketball all period. I actually sort of gave it about 5% effort today...meaning I touched the ball once or twice. Didn't catch it, but touched it. :P

I went a little psycho during lunch and kept scaring Zoe by making wild animal noises (hissing and yowling, mostly) and mauling her. XD;; I don't know--I was kind of hyper and that was what I felt like doing. Cody and I had a really uber-passionate hug, which was funny, and basically we all just acted weird all lunch period. Fun.

Ohhh, and Jessie told us about the funniest book summary in the world! It was something about a [male] vampire falling in love with Jesus. I can't even express my amusement on this subject. X3

Fifth period, critique continued, which was interesting as always. I was hoping my piece wouldn't get critiqued, but then at the very last second, Tony spoke up and told Luciene (NO idea if I'm spelling her name correctly) to critique it. It actually did cause some laughter, and I think they got the point behind the piece, but I still wish Kathryn and Makayla and the rest of our friends had done their Anti-Outie pieces. That just would have been so much cooler.

By way of showing us artwork, Mrs. Mclean taught us about Classics vs. Romantics, which I enjoyed just because it involved drawing and took up all period. I kept trying to classify myself as either one or the other, but I couldn't seem to do so. I think I'm definitely leaning way more into Romantics, but there are some aspects that I'm sort of Classical about. I dunno. Random.

Read the paper all of seventh while everyone else took a test.

Yeah, not much else to talk about, other than that I called Lewis & Clark to tell them I sent in my transcript late, and they said it was fine and didn't really matter. That took off sooo much stress. I...still honestly don't believe I'm going to get in (and indeed, at this point, I'm sort of planning on not getting in), but I suppose whatever happens, happens. *Shrug* I'll just follow Cody whatever it takes, though. It'll suck if I can't be right around him (ie, if I have to rent an apartment in Portland or something), but I'll just have to do my best and take things as they come. I'll have to save up money over the summer or something...
