A journey makes everything better
Feb. 20th, 2006 08:52 pmFor the first half of the day, absolutely nothing interesting happened. I read about four volumes of Monster (which continues to get better and better and better), the second volume of Death Note (which was also completely fascinating), cleaned animal cages, and petted my cats for a long time. It was all very thrilling.
The later half of the day was equally as eventful. I...uh...the only thing I did that's worth even mentioning was finish Samurai Champloo. It was a good ending. Very...slapped-together hastily type of ending, I guess you could say, but that sort of ending fits the show, so it's not like I'm complaining at all. I enjoyed the series a lot. It was screwy and stylish and fun and interesting. Hahaha...I loved what Fuu revealed at the end. XD; It had its symbolic/interesting imagery/slightly emotional moments, so I might have to go back and think some things over. I haven't quite determined what I got out of the series yet, other than "a journey makes everything better". The whole friendship between the three of them made me smile a lot, too. :D Anyway, it was an enjoyable ride.
I'm going to go...er...I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. I'm thinking about starting Gankutsuou, but I'm not sure if I want to taint the Samurai Champloo experience, so I might just hang around. Meh.
I'm at Mom's most of this week, so updates will probably be sporadic. >.>
