It's been a tough weekend emotionally, and I don't think that's going to change very soon. There are a lot of things to deal with, and it might take a long time. But I am feeling better.

Distracting oneself with good anime and manga is, I think, a good strategy. I've been reading Monster like crazy for a while now, and I'm on Volume 8 right now. I'm absolutely lovin' it so far (it's so awesome! I LOVE Naoki Urasawa!), although it has yet to transcend the awesomeness of 20th Century Boys. We'll see, though. It could.

I also went on a bit of an anime shopping spree in Roseville yesterday. I bought the last volume of Samurai Champloo, the first two volumes of Gankutsuou (and the third comes out on my birthday), the first official volume of Loveless, and the second Death Note manga. I haven't gotten to watch/read any of it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I also obtained the first fifty episodes of Bleach, which now means I officially have wayyy too much anime to watch. I still have Yami no Matsuei and Tsubasa and the Eva movies and...and...so much. ._.;

I also attended my six-hour wildlife rehabilitation training class today. It was really cool--so much more in-depth than I thought it would be--and completely fascinating. I have a certificate now, and I can start taking in animals at any time. I'm probably going to stick mostly to baby birds (as they're the easiest, and they need the most help), but I hope to also venture into the 'squirrels and other small mammals' category if I can. So if you see me carrying around a suspicious bucket at school, assume I'm secretly hiding baby songbirds. >.> Don't tell anyone.

Ahhh, I'm so excited I get to interact with wild animals! They had a little bat at the seminar. He was so cute. XD ♥

Erm, yeah. I'm supposed to be at Mom's right now, but...I'm not, because I forgot my house key in Mom's car and so I went to Dad's instead. So don't be offended if I don't answer e-mails or comments or whatever else. I'll be back here tomorrow night, though.

It's been snowing all weekend, and it's really pretty. :D
