I would like to take this moment to quote Jane Austen in saying, "You know how interesting the purchase of a sponge-cake is to me."

...Sorry. XD;; We read that in English class and I was so amused by it I felt the need to post it. It's probably not even that funny, but...um...that's never stopped me before. Within the context of English class, at least, it was very funny.

Today when I got to my TA period, I decided my ambition for the week was to overexert myself. I'm not sure why--it just seemed like a good idea at the time. So--although I was somewhat sore from moving yesterday--I picked up a broom and began to clean like a madwoman. I got SO much done...you guys have no idea. It was purely miraculous. :O I swept about half the floor and collected at least three garbage bags full of magazine shreddings.

I will miss the hamster cage when it is gone. ;_;

Government was as interesting as it normally is, which is best described as 'not at all'.

Tim and I were playing extraordinarily well today, which was also part of my 'overexert myself' plan. It went very well. Tim said he might be moving back to Okinawa, which makes me very envious indeed. Why don't *I* get to go to Japan?

I think the 'overexert myself' plan died during Lunch. I think. KK wasn't at school today, and Zoe never showed up at lunch because she was doing...whatever, so I followed Cody into the choir room, where Kirstin, Shannon, and I had an interesting conversation about writing for the rest of Lunch. It's so nice to be surrounded by fellow writers, who can understand my obsessions and madness! Kirstin and I have become rather fond of discussing fanfiction together.

Art was...uh...I don't know. Zoe and Makayla were both LATE and Kathryn wasn't at school, so I almost thought I was going to be stuck with no one but Tony for company. ;_; We had our usual fake!dramas, soap-opera-style (as is tradition), so now I'm not sure if Zoe and I are back to being married or not, because now Makayla's saying the divorce papers are fake because I was having an affair with her at the time. ...WTF? I don't know. It's funny, though. OMG--Yoko Kanno will rule the universe! Someone (who I burned the CD for, but that's not the point), turned on the Arjuna soundtrack today of their own free will. I was so confused because I was listening to my own headphones, and I could not for the life of me figure out why I could hear Arjuna music in the background in addition to Sakasama no Chou. Y'know, until common sense kicked in and it clicked that someone was playing it in the normal CD player. It was definitely nifty, though.

English was amusing, if only for the terribly witty Jane Austen quotes Mrs. Mclean supplied us with.

Hmm...not much to say about most of the rest of the day. We gave Kirstin a ride home after school, I went and sent [livejournal.com profile] hitchi's package (finally!) at the post office, and then I've just been sitting at home, packing a little, taking long showers, and writing that important thing I need to write.

*Yawn* Now I'm tired.

I'm so excited, though--I get $350 worth of CDs from Japan tomorrow. *Dances* Amazon's still delaying my Eva package, though. *Shakes fist* It's been two months, people! And it's not even an import item or anything rare!
