Today was not greatly eventful, and actually kind of baffling as far as it being a Monday, but we have school off after Tuesday, so it's like a Monday/Thursday hybrid.
Before school, KK and Nicole were showing me the pictures they took of each other late at night while on a crazy streak, which were really funny. XD I hope they post some of them on their LiveJournals...they were hysterical. No idea why I just wrote about that here. I'm just babbling about my day incoherently as usual.
First period I cleaned the art room. Again. I was pretty much incapable of sweeping the room with all the kids in it, though, so I resigned myself from sweeping early and started organizing the countertops instead. Listened to the Sousei no Aquarion OSTs while doing this. I'm beginning to think it's unhealthy to give me more Yoko Kanno music than I already have because then I must obsess on it really excessively and it scares everyone including myself. XD Yeah, spent the rest of the period ranting about Yoko Kanno's greatness to Jasmine, as I said earlier.
I sat around in Econ and did very little. Mr. Bothun caught me reading my own LiveJournal and hinted that I should be working. ._.; Unfortunately (well, actually fortunately, but I can pretend it's unfortunate, né?) I assigned the bulk of the work in our current project to the other people in my group (I can't work on anything until they finish their work), so I was left stranded with nothing to do but read my own LiveJournal. That's sad. Anyway--that's not the point.
We had both a sub and a fire drill during PE today. It was glorious. I cannot describe how glorious it was.
Lunch was fun and typical and I don't really remember it except that it involved curly fries. Or something. O_o;
In Advanced Art, we had the coolest critique to date. We had an hour, and we critiqued only three pieces--but it was awesome critiquing, and ended up being almost more of a philosophical conversation than a critique. After seeing everyone else's awesome projects, though, I feel like mine is unworthy, lame, and unthoughtful. ._.;; Anyway, that was totally cool.
English...meh, we finished some worksheets on Paradise Lost and it was boring. Paradise Lost is an interesting story conceptually (and it's well-written), but I simply cannot keep my interest on it for very long. Good thing we're done with it now.
In Anatomy (my not-class class), I sat and read the newspaper and read Heart of Darkness. Cody hid from the water that was being sprayed out of the sink by KK and Ari and Gabe. Selah wasn't there. There was a totally awesome sub, which had no relevance to me because I never have to do any work anyway, 'cause I'm not in the class. XD
Mom picked me up (after I waited for her for 35+ minutes, as usual) and brought me to the hospital because she was late for a meeting, so Dad picked me up there and brought me home.
I downloaded/watched AMVs for quite a while after I got home. Cody randomly showed up and watched some AMVs with me for about fifteen minutes, so that was nice. ^_^ Oh, and he returned my Claus keychain, which he kidnapped yesterday. I'm glad to have Claus-kun back. XD
After long stretches of taking a shower/doing nothing, I went to financial aid night at school. This was...exceptionally tedious and complicated and just plain boring. I kept zoning out without realizing it and then zoning back in and realizing I had missed a bunch of information. @_@ Oh well--Mom was avidly taking notes next to me, and she's mostly filling out the main scholarship form, so I figure everything will turn out fine. XD
I basically got home feeling brain dead, watched more AMVs, and then called Cody and talked to him for a while. And now here I am. Just typing away. :)
I wish Ryan and Dad would go to bed early for once so I can work on my Naruto Wishlist fanfic. I haven't worked on it at all over the weekend. >.>
Oh, and I'm concerned about KK's sleep level, 'cause she's supposed to come over tomorrow to take our customary long, long walk, and Nicole's spending the night at her house tonight. Normally when Nicole is over at KK's, it means neither of them gets any sleep. @_@ So...uh...yeah. I hope the long walk is still on.
