Whee~!

KK came over yesterday and spent the night. She was a little more lethargic than usual because she donated some blood to the blood drive yesterday, but (after our traditional SasuNaru fanart slideshow) we remedied that by going on a really nice walk from about 7 PM to 9:30 PM. We went to Mekka and she got some chai and I got a white hot chocolate, and we just wandered around Nevada City talking for those two or so hours. It was awesome, nostalgic weather--it was dark, but the clouds in the sky were really, really bright, so it was beautiful. *_* It was a great walk.

When we got back, we watched the first two episodes of FLCL, but by the time we finished the second episode, KK was falling asleep. So we went to bed at 10:30 PM...unusually early. ^^; And we didn't wake up until about 9 AM, too. XD

Then we created this while eating pizza: naruffrec It needs a lot of work and editing and additions (and rereading of the rec'd fanfics), but if you ever want a fanfic to read...feel free to go there. I'd prefer random people not start posting recs in it, seeing as it is sort of just KK and my rec community, but if any of our good friends finds a Naruto fanfic that merits reading, you can post it there. :)

Then we went out for another walk. We attempted to swing by Nicole's house and retrieve her, but no one was home, so that was rendered impossible. XD We went back to Mekka, I got an coconut italian slush and KK got a raspberry italian soda, and we went to go visit Cody after a LOT of wandering around. He was sick this morning (;_;) because he had some form of food poisoning, but by the time we got there he had gotten it out of his system and seemed to be feeling fine. We basically just did what we always do--goofed around, watched Cody play random old RPGs, wrestled on the couch, and had an all-over good time. After several hours there, though, Cody drove us back to my house, where we...uh...didn't do a great deal. KK
got picked up a little over a half-hour ago. Cody's supposed to come back over when he finishes with the Chamber performance, though.

Yay, I got my response from my recipient-nin~! I'm so excited. I have a couple of ideas circulating, so I'm pretty much ready to start writing it at any time. I get to write and draw SasuNaru angst! >D My specialty.

Oh, and I'm going to have to work on my college applications this week. :O I have five days 'til I really should send it out (that's when Cody's sending his), so I have to get working right away! EEP!
