pacificpikachuToday was a good day. Shannon and I made pancakes and finished Densha Otoko this morning (which is always a big "YAY!" factor for the day), watched AMVs and such for a while, and had a wonderful time overall. She left at around 2 PM. Not too long after Shannon left, Nicole called and we had a fun philosophical discussion about AIR (that ended up being about reincarnation and lifespans). Shortly after that, I took a shower and caught the ducks and pheasants. Then I went to Dad's.

By the end, I was running around trying to sway votes in my favor (which worked for another contestant because she was "on the cusp" before I was), but before anyone had time to respond, the votes were closed. :( Oh well--everyone is so nice during voting, and I don't really *mind* apping (it's rather fun and exciting--and I'm trying to get Makayla and Shannon to get their butts in gear and app with me next round). It would have been nice to get in this time, though. Perhaps I'm just meant to get in during December, which is close to Christmas break--thus giving me more time to have fun RPing and getting the hang of things. That way, I also won't be distracted from classes because of late-night CFUD discussions.

Speaking of being distracted, my attempts at working on my homework thusfar have been foiled. I have an essay due Wednesday that I just can't seem to write, and everything else I've attempted, reading my Psychology book aside, haven't quite worked out. Now that apping is out of my mind for the next month or so, though, perhaps I'll be able to concentrate more easily on what I'm supposed to be working on.
That's all for now. I have a bit of a headache.
