Ouran... *Snerk*

pacificpikachuOuran is such crack. XD;; It amuses me. Tamaki still steals the show, in my opinion (I love him dearly. His antics make me laugh so hard ♥), though I'm rather fond of Haruhi, too. The show still doesn't live up the hype in my opinion, but it's amusing enough. Likeable, but not glorious. I still have fourteen episodes to get me to completely fall for the show, but I'm not going to fall for it much more than I already have if it turns into reverse-harem mush. So far I've really enjoyed its ability to parody its own appeal, and how aware it is of the ridiculousness of its genre, but I have the distinct feeling it will nonetheless degenerate into one of those "Now which bishounen will I choose?" shows.
I love Tamaki, so of course I'm rooting for him. I hope they'll just skip all the "Oh noes! Now I have to pick one to love!" drama in favor of Tamaki/Haruhi, but...um, yeah. (Or, heck, just skip the pairing stuff altogether... It's better than the usual reverse-harem dilemma.) I somehow doubt that's going to happen. So far, all the little drama bits of the show have made me roll my eyes, so I'm not convinced this show can pull off any good drama. Well, I guess I'll see. I tend to make predictions about shows and my liking them or not liking them that I sometimes regret, so you never know.
Today, after doing some homework, I went house-hunting with Dad and our realtor Michelle. Out of the houses we looked at, only one was nice, and it was a little above our budget. So, today Dad and Michelle wrote the offer for the other house we were looking out. I'm not 100% sure it's going to go through, but it most likely will. We'll see. ^^
One of the houses we looked at in right about the same price range was seriously weird. It was brown and shingled and really really really tacky. It had ugly brown carpeting, it was dark like a cave, and it was in a serious state of disrepair. It amused me, though, because though most of the house was carpeted with dark brown, one room had BRIGHT BLUE carpeting with no transition or anything whatsoever. So, it was a little strange.
I have lots more homework to start now, so I'd better get off. :( I want to watch more Ouran because it's so amusing, but alas Everson essays and Statistics studying are calling.
This song makes me really nostalgic for some reason.
