pacificpikachuToday I went to Chemistry, where we did fun things like turn substances weird colors, burn things with shiny effects, and hollow out pennies with Hydrochloric Acid. :D It was surprisingly unstressful for Chemistry. The fact that I've been more awake than usual today probably helped.
Um...other than that, we went to Petsmart, Home Depot, and to visit my Grandma today. At Home Depot, we bought some paint with which I will paint the chicken coop tomorrow (it scares me that I'm actually looking forward to this), and at Petsmart...um...I think we basically just went to see the animals. There was a little dwarf hamster who was sitting in this funny position I can't describe, and he made me DED OF CUTE. I also talked to a lady who was thinking of adopting a cat, and walked Lily around for no reason.
It was nice visiting my Grandma. :D As usual, she gave me a nice sum of money for no other reason than "Halloween is coming up", and I do intend to spend this money on anime stuff in Japantown on Saturday. I've pretty much decided against YaoiCon this year, as it's expensive ($35 for four or five hours there? That seems kind of unreasonable...) and I don't want to feel like I'm lying to my parents in order to go. Also, no friends are going other than a few online ones, and even then there's no guarantee I'd see them.
However, I am already scheming for next year.
Unfortunately, Tanner came with us to the aforementioned stores and our Grandma's house, making the trip a more irritating one. I can't STAND that kid. He makes me want to scream and pull all my hair out and kill either him or the nearest innocent bystander.
I [really really] want to get together with Nicole this weekend, but she's only free Saturday, and that's when I'm going to be in San Francisco, so I don't think it's going to work out this weekend. Man, it's a conspiracy or something! I seriously see so few people outside of my family these days. I miss Nicole so much! We have like...three hundred hours of anime to watch together.
Also, I'm excited because the chicken coop now has four latchable (totally not a word) doors. This should not excite me, but it does. I'm just dorky like that.
