OMG DAY AFTER TOMORROW! *Spaz!*

pacificpikachuWTF everyone? Why does it seem like my Friends list exploded exactly when I don't have the time to deal with it? Haha, looks like I'm going to be staying up late tonight, with everything I want to catch up on and packing. >.>
Yesterday...not a lot to say. The most exciting thing that happened was that Sarah (a really sweet girl in my Government class) drove me to the Government meeting at the Rood Center at 9 AM. We were there for about an hour and a half. It wasn't terribly exciting--they did nothing but pass resolutions, but it was certainly better than PE class. It was also fun going with Sarah. We talked about animals on the way there, and creative writing on the way back, so it was generally a pleasant outing.
Well, this morning Dad and I drove the three jays over to Jacqui's house, as she's watching them from today until Tuesday after school. I'm going to miss them. ;_; When we were at her house yesterday, she was babysitting a baby crow and a baby mockingbird, so I got to check them out. They were so cute! I wanted to watch the crow and mockingbird for the night just for the fun of it, but I didn't have time to because Mom was in a big hurry. It seems they're a little sick anyway.
Not a lot happened during school... Anime Club went well. We watched the first episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and the first half of the second episode (where the DVD cut off), and everyone really liked it (as I was expecting). I talked a little about Fanime with Densha and other people, and that's...pretty much it. It was pretty fun.
After school, I had SO MUCH FUN at Gaylene's working on my costume. There was fur flying everywhere (all over everyone, in the air, EVERYWHERE), and while she sewed my gloves, hood, and other stuff, I cut out the pads for my paws and glued them to the gloves, did some patterns for the ears, figured out what to do instead of boots, and...the best part...furred the face. XD;; OMG, it was so fun! It looks really good, though. o_o I'm impressed. I was there for about two hours working, and Gaylene's son (who is adorable, by the way) was helping me glue things and we were discussing things. I promised to pay him a dollar for his good work. Maybe I'll bring him two or three dollars just to make him happy. Gaylene was also telling me horror stories about scary prom moms. XD;
In the end, we got everything done for my costume except the body and the ears. Gaylene is going to do those while I'm at school tomorrow, and we're picking up the costume tomorrow. I'm really thrilled about it.
We went out to dinner after that...not a lot to say. That's pretty much been my day. It's been great, really. Wonderful, wonderful cloudy, breezy, just-right-temperature day. I keep getting e-mails complimenting me on my opinions on SasuNaru, the cuteness of my dog, etc.
