Dancing in the rain

pacificpikachuOkay, well, remember a couple minutes ago when I posted and said it was nice weather?
Well, pretty much exactly when I finished writing that entry, I looked outside, and it was just randomly pouring. POURING + WARM = KRISTIN'S FAVORITE. Pouring + warm = extremely rare in our part of California.
So, what do I do about it?
I go out running around in it, of course! I just dashed out the door (much to the surprise and confusion of my Dad and brother), ran right out there in my shorts and a t-shirt, and starting dancing around in the rain, laughing and leaping and spreading out my arms to feel the raindrops against my palms. IT WAS GLORIOUS. I'm now dripping, sopping wet and absolutely ECSTATIC about it.
And just as the rain started to slow and I, as a result, started to get a little sad, there was a BIG crack of thunder.
Pouring + warm + thunder and lightning = ULTIMATE HAPPINESS.
It was...a really strange, wonderful experience. It...sort of felt like I was crying, in a way, although it was just the raindrops in my eyes. So...I don't know. I feel like I needed that. I feel extremely happy now. And sort of...redeemed, for the moment. Not to say this heals anything, really, but...for the moment, I feel...like I did years ago, caught up in the wonders of nature instead of the depressing world of humanity.
XD;; I'd better go change my clothes now. That was so, so cool, though.
