Bell Plush!

Ooooh, I won a lot of 8 bell plush, with Vaporeon, Jolteon, Dragonair, Dragonite, Oddish, Bulbasaur, Pidgey, and Pikachu! They don't come with their boxes, but, I mean, you rarely see those 'Vees and I won the whole lot for (I think) quite a bit less than what they'd be auctioned off for on the community.

Now to begin the internal war over what to keep and what to sell. Very tempted to keep the first four because they're all ones I collect to some degree (I already have Pidgey and Pikachu), but on the other hand I could make a lot off of them... Maybe I'll wait until I have them in hand to decide. I have a feeling I'll be so charmed by them that I'll keep those four even though I could make money for Japan off of them. Bell plush are just too cute. ;___;

I'm really surprised I won them? I mean, they weren't cheap (although, actually with fees and stuff, they'll probably only average out to about $20 each), but certainly less than I would have expected to pay for them... I wonder if Noppin's holiday helped me out here.

Still a little sad about the Chikorita Plushplush, but this awesome win sure helps! (Just hope I find another Chiko Plushplush one of these days.)

Congrats!! :D

My travel savings was going to be up to $800, but then I got a reminder in the mail that my boys need to see the vet this month. I do have something that I can sell to help make this trip happen, but I'm really torn. It is the 25th Anniversary Legend of Zelda 3DS. Out of all the special edition 3DS systems, it is by far my favorite. Now that I have the Pokemon Y 3DS XL, I really don't need my Zelda one. Another thing I can sell is my iPad, but I use it to stay in touch with my Mom when I go out of town. I'm going to talk to my Dad and see if I can hit him up for some money. This is a once in a lifetime trip after all...;)

Thanks! I never thought I'd get any Eeveelution bell plush (aside from Eevee, which I already have), because they show up so rarely and usually go up to a few hundred each easily. I should at least be able to break even or almost break even with selling the four I don't want to keep, and then I can put that money away for Japan, so it works out!

Wow, that is an excellent start to your savings! Even with taking a little out for your critters, you're well on your way! I'm personally trying to save up $3000, so I'll have a good amount of spending money while I'm there. I only have around $220 put away right now, but I have serious plans on how I"m gonna make this work, so I'm pretty confident it's going to happen! I'm selling at a convention tomorrow, plus selling at another couple of conventions throughout the year, plus my tax refund and putting some money away from my paycheck each month.

Don't sell anything you'll really regret, and remember you still have quite a bit of time to save, but this sure sounds promising so far, doesn't it?! :D

It has been sometime since I last saw a lot auction full of bell plush! Like you said, they don't show-up to often. breaking even is always good...;)

Well, part of that will be used when I go to CA with Rodney in July. Putting the cats in the pet resort gets costly. The only way I can make it work is to sell some things. Saving from my SSI alone won't work and I don't get a tax refund. Again, I'll talk to my Dad and see what he says.

I'll see what else I have to sell around here first. Selling my iPad and Zelda 3DS will be my back-up plan.
