Feeling a little stressed about Otakon, because it sounds like Yoko Kanno's autograph will be by lottery system, and she might not be having a panel. ;____; I was kind of expecting both, but it does make my life harder. I'm thinking of a) once the website goes up, e-mailing around the staff and seeing if anyone can help me secure an autograph spot, and b) offering to pay money ($100?) for a winning ticket from someone who wins it, or something like that. I'm determined! I wish I knew how the autograph lottery will even work to begin with, though.

Of course, I will get in the concert no matter what, because I must.

It does appear that Shinichiro Watanabe has at least two autograph sessions, though, so that's good news!

Anyway, I'll figure out more once the site is back up, and at least I have a few days to try and figure things out.

Also, what, I am silly and just realized that the convention is ending Sunday but I am not leaving until Monday. Haha, good job self, this might be a problem? I'll have to see if I can find someone to room with that night if kirarakim doesn't have a room that night (and I don't imagine she does?). Anyway, I refuse to worry about that too much, as I'm sure I can find someone to stay with that night.

I'm home alone for the next five days because my mom is in Sioux Falls helping my aunt move, so I'm caring for the horses and stuff. Mom has a petsitter cleaning the paddocks every day, but I have to feed them. I'm feeling a little nervous about that for some reason, probably just because of my fatigue/depression? and me having to work as well, but I'm sure it'll be fine. It's not really that much work.

Yes I am sorry I don't have a hotel Sunday night. I always stay 2 nights.


Try seeing if you can book a room through Expedia or Hotwire. I know it's last minute but Sunday night has got to be less crowded than other nights.

I just checked expedia and it looks like Days Inn has a room available for $118 that night.

However you can always try your luck at the Otakon boards. They have a section for rooms & rides.

It's okay, I'm sure I can find someone on the boards to stay with! I've done that at many a convention and it always works out well. :D I'm just amazed that it didn't click for me until now that the convention ends the 11th, and I'm not leaving until the 12th, haha. I think I'm getting confused because all of the big cons generally (at least used to) run Friday through Monday, and this year that doesn't seem to be the case. Anime Expo was Thursday through Sunday this year, which was confusing.

Anyway, thanks for your help, and don't worry, it'll be fine!

To bad I'm not going. My Dad has a place in both DC and Baltimore. I would of stayed with him and I'm sure he wouldn't of minded me bringing a friend along either. Hope everything works out...:3
